Anyone that's so threatened by opposing ideas they feel the need to remove them from the face the earth is a fool, and that's about the nicest thing that can be said for them.
 what on earth are you talking about :)

matt 5.22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

I think that much is pretty clear.

heavensblade23:

since you posted that to me who didn't say anything remotely like it, then what is pretty clear about it?

The Bible is replete with people being called fools, so the meaning of that passage is unclear.
the meaning of that verse is plainly clear.

matt 5.22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

one calling another of gods creation a fool is in danger of hell fire.
very clear, god did not create fools.
but whatever the explanation, just believe what he says.

No, I'm not taking your word for it on the matter of Bible interpretation. If you're anything like most of the other posters here you're off in a different direction entirely than myself.

You didn't respond to the substance of what I said, which is that there are numerous examples of people being called fools in the Bible, including Jesus and Paul.

don't believe my interpertation of bible verses, just believe what the verses say.

plain and clear, call another a fool and you are in danger of hell fire.

there are indeed but that dosn't change the above verse, ofcourse many use any excuse to change what scripture says though.

We can read the words but can't decipher what it meant, because obviously in some cases it's okay to use the word fool. Secondly even if we could it's still unclear because no one knows what 'raca' meant, so the distinction is lost. 200 years afterward it meant fool, but that just adds to the confusions.

I was reiterating my position because you were insinuating I was a hypocrite. If the choice is between being quick tempered and being someone that advocates burning books, I'm glad to be quick tempered.

Raca - ריקה from the Hebrew רק rak, to be empty. It signifies a vain, empty, worthless fellow, shallow brains, a term of great contempt. Such expressions were punished among the Gentoos by a heavy fine. See all the cases, Code of Gentoo Laws, chap. 15: sec. 2.

Thou fool - Moreh, probably from מרה marah, to rebel, a rebel against God, apostate from all good. This term implied, among the Jews, the highest enormity, and most aggravated guilt. Among the Gentoos, such an expression was punished by cutting out the tongue, and thrusting a hot iron, of ten fingers breadth, into the mouth of the person who used it. Code of Gentoo Laws, chap. 15: sec. 2. p. 212.

straight from my Clarke commentary. the rest i have seen disagree on whether it's arabic, hebrew, etc but they all say about the same on the definition.

now all this arguement coming from someone burning a pamplet that didn't agree with biblical teachings. i wouldn't compare that to a book burning. that's a tad over kill there. how can we expect to be able to spread our Message to the world or be taken seriously if we can't get along amoung ourselves?

no, you didn't get that right either, i was showing where you appear to be negative and accusing, it's in a lot of your posting imo.

We've still got a bunch of little Goebbels' around that think book-burning is a fine hobby so interstellar relations are bound to be tense to say the least.

do you see the negativity and accusing there?

do you see that false accusation there?
i burned a book i believed to be a doctrine of demons, hardly makes one an advocater of book burning.

but we are called to
1 discuss our problems in prive to resolve them
if that fails
2 bring a couple respected elders to the meeting
if that fails
3 bring it before the church
if that fails
4 treet them as a non beliver and do not fellowship with the until the issue is resolved

not jump up and down saying he called me a name

Ascended Masters, in the Ascended Master Teachings is derived from the Theosophical concept of Masters of Wisdom or "Mahatmas". They are believed to be spiritually enlightened beings who in past incarnations were ordinary humans, but who have undergone a process of spiritual transformation. The term "Ascended Master" was first introduced in 1934 with the publication of Unveiled Mysteries by Guy Ballard in The "I AM" Activity. This term was further popularized by others in books like The Bridge to Freedom (1951), The Summit Lighthouse (1958), The Temple of The Presence (1995), and various other organizations such as the White Eagle Lodge (1936).
