The Ten Commandments that Moses received from God at Sinai - was in the form of law - and the ten commandments are still valid - they are the commandments of God - who never backs down.

But - after Jesus - the Ten Commandments become faith "
How do you understand? - Required by law to love God - but liability is not love - love can not be forced - love and duty are two totally opposite things.

Nor can love a stranger - because, how you can have faith in someone who does not know? -

Jesus came to fulfill the Law - "I did not come to abolish the Law but to fulfill it" - so it is written, - but, Jesus did not comply with the law because they feel obligated - complied with the Act for the love of God and neighbor as himself.

What we do out of obligation - not for love, - is required, and no one does things with pleasure when he feels compelled - therefore - we must replace the law and adopt the faith - and faith - then turns into love.

When Jesus came, - and live with us as it is what the Bible says - we showed the great difference between doing things out of obligation - and / or love. - And gave us the cause.

The burden is very heavy when we are forced to take them - but when we carry the same burden of love - is lighter - the obligation is sometimes so heavy - it is impossible to bear it, - but - with love - the opposite is true - Jesus is the example.

Matthew (23, 1-12)
Glory to you, Lord.
At that time - Jesus said to the crowds and his disciples:
"In the chair of Moses have sat the Scribes and Pharisees. - Make it, everything they are told - but do not imitate their works, - they say one thing and do another. - They make very heavy burdens, hard to bear and throw them on the backs of men - but they, nor a finger they want to move.

That's the Law - the law requires, - no calls - but no one can say that the law is bad - no, - no way - the bad thing is the imposition or obligation - and the worst is that , administrators of the Act do not move a finger to comply.

Everything is done so that people see. - Widen the phylacteries and fringes of the garment like to take the first places at feasts and the seats of honor in the synagogues like to be greeted in the marketplaces and people call them 'teachers'.

God does not grant privileges to anyone or exempted from the Act to anyone - however, managers give themselves privileges without the approval of God. - Reserve for himself the honors, - and note an alleged superiority to others - require bowing which is not theirs - and act with hypocrisy.

You, - by contrast - do not let the call 'masters' - because they have only one master - and you are all brothers. No man on earth call him 'father' - because your Father is only the heavenly Father.

God created us - God knows that we are capable and will not - God knows each one in particular - God knows what we think and what we say and what we do - so is our Father. - And so we are all brothers.

Do not be called 'guides', because the only guide you is Christ.
We know that Christ was raised over two thousand years ago - is back and know that Spirit is in us all, - and as is also God, - is omnipresent - is everywhere at the same time - for this reason it is our only guide - a guide who is teaching us - even while you sleep.

That the greatest among you be your servant, - for he who exalts himself will be humbled and whoever humbles himself will be exalted. "

Jesus being Spirit - flesh and became man, - to be our neighbor and our neighbor's - and loved us knowingly, - humbled - to be high was small - bear the burden of this life and further - for the love of God and man, - because He being the son of God became man.

All GOD requires is a willing heart to Love HIM .... It is not a difficult task HE has set before man to do, yet we still rebel and say it is impossible to please HIM which shows our unwillingness to do so, it lowers our standards of exceptable behavior as well. To love the Lord our GOD with all our heart, mind and soul is the greatest of all commandments and should never be compromised by those who claim to know and follow Christ Jesus.

This is what Jesus said about the 10 Commandments Law:

Matthew 17:20 17"Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. 19Anyone who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.

Jesus went onto to say:.... When asked the question, "Which is the greatest commandment in the law?" He answered: "'You must love Jehovah your God with your whole heart and with your whole soul and with your whole mind.' This is the greatest and first commandment. The second, like it, is this:'You must love your neighbor as yourself.' On these two commandments the whole Law hangs, and the Prophets." (Matt. 22:35-40, NW)

Then one of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked him, "Of all the commandments, which is the most important?" "The most important one," answered Jesus, "is this: 'Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.' The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no commandment greater than these." (NIV, Mark 12:28-31).

Sadly many people focus only on keeping the law and neglecting to love others. They are phony and impostor christians.

Remember.... There is no commandment greater than these.. love God and love others.

But to genuinely love God and others, a person need to fall in love with Jesus and place faith and trust in Jesus and be born again. Then God writes His law and love on your heart.

Those who claim to love the Law, yet do not love others, have never been genuinely saved and born again.

The Commandments spoken about in the New Testament and New Covenant are the 2 Commandments, LOVE GOD and LOVE OTHERS!

The Law was the Old Covenant. When Jesus died He released us from any obligation to the Old Covenant (not that I as a gentile had any obligation anyway) and we can now live under the New Covenant of Grace. Grace and Law cannot mix, just as a man cannot have 2 wives at once. They are mutually exclusive.

If you try to live under both it is like you are cheating on your spouse. The Law was made so that no regular man could live up to it as we have a carnal nature. Jesus, who was born of woman but not of a man, did not have this carnal nature and was able to live a perfect life.

Praise God, because of what Jesus did on the cross I don't have to worry about living up to the Law, I live under His Grace, Jesus my Lord.

THE SPIRIT OF THE LAW IS THE LOVE
THEN THE LAW IS LOVE,
BUT YOU DO NOT KNOW TO READ THE SPIRIT
YOU ARE TRAPPED IN POINT OF LAW, AND DO NOT LET TO BE TRAPPED BY THE LOVE
YOU WANT IMPOSE YOUR OPINION LIKE A LAW - AS AN ACT
LIKE THE PHARISEES

Wrong!!! Once a person comes to Christ, they are born of the Holy Spirit and God writes His Law on our hearts. Then our actions are tempered by love, not legalism.

You are in total error with your comments and it's obvious it's YOU who follow the law to please God and a futile attempt to remain saved.

No, you are wrong, - with your words, the Gospel Becomes a law.
You want to Impose the Gospel, by force
Gospel is the perfection of the law, Because the Gospel is love, thus, the law, Becomes love.
So - you understand why, to love God and love your neighbor as yourself, compliance all the law

Wrong!!! You have not understood the true gospel!

Love is a verb, an action, and God created the universe and people in love. And when we are born again, we naturally love. When you do not sincerely have deep love for God and people, that shows you have never been born again.

7angel, you MUST BE BORN AGAIN!!!

John 3:7 You should not be surprised at my saying, 'You must be born again.'

Those who have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord in their hearts and follow Him need not worry much of the ten commandments. With the Holy Spirit guiding you, you will most certainly be following the commandments whether you notice it or not.

A person sincerely born again will have the law of God written on their hearts.

Let me tell you what has happened and changed in me from the day I invited Jesus into my heart and life.

Before I knew Jesus and before Jesus was invited into my heart, I would sin and not care, it never bothered me at all.

But once I invited Jesus into my heart, all of a sudden, I hated sin and hated what I was doing, and what I wanted to do that I was not doing, exactly the same as Paul felt when he wrote Romans 7:15.

All of a sudden I had a conscience and I stopped smoking, stopped being a drug dealer, stop using drugs, stopped managing harlot houses and strip clubs, and smashed all my Egyptian statues which cost around $300 each. I smashed the lot and even smashed all my heavy metal record collection and also my pagan jewelery I had, smashed and destroyed it all. It was such a strong conviction to do so and afterward I felt great!

Once I was born again, God wrote his law and nature on my heart, and now all of a sudden I really hate sinning.

That comes naturally now, and I do it without thought, its become part of my new character, new thoughts and new nature God gave me.

So yes, my heart hurts when I stumble in sin, I detest sin, and the law is good, just and Holy, and happy am I when I do walk in the Commandments of God.

This verse applies to me perfectly:

Romans 7:15 I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do.

But all this is a result of already having been saved, not to be saved. Can you see the difference?

 Very New Covenant post thus far & :amen:

Are we free to willfully break any of the 10 Commandments in the New Covenant? Yes or No?

Actually in the New Covenant it's nothing about the believer anymore, somply compare & contrast which we shall see the diff & hall we start with the Old Covenant 1st?

Exd 20:3 "You shall have no other gods before Me.

Exd 20:5 For I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me,

Exd 20:7 "You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.

Exd 20:13 "You shall not murder.

Exd 20:14 "You shall not commit adultery.

Exd 20:15 "You shall not steal.

Above furnished is only a sample of the 10 Commandments but i believe all readers here know that the ONUS lies with the believer. There's Nothing wrong with the Perfect Law of GOD, it is Just & Holy, however the problem lies with men for ALL are corruptible & are prone to failure- In Short, we're the weakest link, period :)

However let's see what is the New Covenant shall we?

Hebrews 8:10 "For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the LORD: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

Hebrews 8:11 "None of them shall teach his neighbor, and none his brother, saying, 'Know (ginōskō In the Greek & translated : to learn to know, come to know, get a knowledge of perceive, feel) the LORD,' for all shall know (eidō Greek & Translates: notice, discern, discover) Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them

Hebrews 8:12 "For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no (ou mē Greek & Translate: never, certainly not, not at all, by no means) more."

Hebrews 8:13 In that He says, "A new covenant," He has made the first obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.

Believe all can read for themselves that in the NT, it's all about GOD Almighty Himself doing all the work IN us & Thru us with NOTHING for the believers to do ;)

The Laws HE wants written in our heart must come from HIM working is the believers, it's Him 1st giving us the desires then the wants & finally the actions for true transformation comes from within & no wonder Jesus said about the Scribes & Pharisees whom only interested in cleaning the outside but not the inside.

The Believers needn't have the Law to teach what do's & don't for it is written that GRACE (Jesus) is the teacher - doubt anyone can better this right? It's the Holy Spirit that indwells the believers that will teach them & NEVER the Law of the 10 Commandments for the 10 Commandments were kept in the Coffin (Ark is what is written in your Bible but the Hebrew word is Coffin) & whenever the ppl open the coffin & expose the 10 Commandment in the OT, all died!

That is why the devils/satan Himself is so fixed on getting the preachers / christian to expose the flocks the 10 Commandment as it's THE Sure fire way to Kill all the Redeemed slowly & painfully :)

Another simply case study, when Peter beheld Jesus's Glory, he walked on water just like Jesus but when peter look at his natural circumstances, he begings to sink. How many ppl keeps saying that we ought to be like Jesus- truth be known that it's not diff, it's impossble. Only with us beholding Jesus's Glory via Hearing anointed preaching or reading the glories of Jesus that unveils His Righteousness then we'll be transformed into HIS Image by the Holy Spirit (Not us the believers again) from Glory into Glory.

See how perversed the devil has been all these while by getting pastors/christians to focus on themselves which is a sure fire way of death (like the children of Israel while wondering in the wilderness when bitten by the snakes beholding their pain-all died. However those that behold the Bronze serpent which is a type of Jesus Judged for all our transgressions, all lived)

Being a week into my faith, I have shown some improvement. By nature I am a guy who likes to joke around and make fun of friends every chance I get. Although not completely, that is starting to come out of my life and I am running out of ideas to have a good time.

We are creatures of habit. I was once in your shoes, but there a tons of ways to have a good time. I recommend getting involved in your church and meeting some of the guys there. I'll bet you can find a way to have a good time with them.

Your post has a seed of legalism within it! You are a false witness!

Brother, I would never slander you personally, for I know this to be not the will of GOD. I speak for CHRIST JESUS and HE says:

John 12:4 There is a judge for the one who rejects me and does not accept my words; that very word which I spoke will condemn him at the last day.

I suppose Christ Jesus is a legalist and FALSE WITNESS as well?
