I'm not going to research every word.

Apple, my friend in Christ, not everything can be taken at face value...just like when one is told to pluck out ones own eye if it causes you to sin....

As above, the Bible needs to be studied or at the very least interpreted correctly as has been done since scripture was written.

You don't have to...... But you can research the critical words such as the original one translated as "lights". That's the one you're hung up on and the one you keep drawing attention to. Well research it properly. You are obliged to do that if you're going to keep focusing on it and telling the rest of us that it means the moon is its own source of light. It obviously does not mean that it has to be its own source of light and you would see that for yourself if you do the research. But you haven't and that's why others can see you are wrong and you can't.

Genesis was not originally written in English. When you read the Bible in English, you are reading a translation, not the original. And the meanings of words can be lost in translation. "maor" is one of those. But you have access to dictionaries on the internet to help you with that. That's Bible study. Do it if you want to understand what God says in His word. Otherwise you're treating His word without giving Him the respect of studying what He has to say.

I know this but to say that God didn't create two Great lights is a bit much, this verse is not an allegory.

Two great lights, yes. But, one is there to 'reflect' the suns light. It is still a 'great light'. But only at night to reflect the sun.....

Here it is in English and from a literal translation:

"And God saith, `Let luminaries be in the expanse of the heavens, to make a separation between the day and the night, then they have been for signs, and for seasons, and for days and years," Genesis 1: 14 YLT

That's a literal translation from the original Hebrew. And it's one that many students of the Bible use still.

I thought God is against predicting.
Not all predicting. Remember what Jesus said to some Jews:

“He answered and said to them, "When it is evening you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red’; "and in the morning, ‘It will be foul weather today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ Hypocrites! You know how to discern the face of the sky, but you cannot discern the signs of the times.” (Mt 16:2-3 NKJV)

He doesn't rebuke them for seeking to predict the weather, but for not recognising "the signs of the times."

How I pray that we shall yet see posts again from the Apple Sky who wrote so graciously only a few days back about seeing how mistaken you had been, and how you would need God's help in getting used to not believing in a flat earth and all the associated things.

But he is against fortune telling & the so likes such as Saul and the witch of Endor.
Weather forecasts are not fortune telling, nor do forecasters consult mediums, as Saul did with the witch at Endor.

Make op your own mind, you've seen the videos, what do you think ?
It shows what I would expect to see from a point within the antarctic circle on a spherical earth -- a sun that skates along the entire horizon in a circle over 24 hours.

Indeed, these are related to the very definitions of the arctic and antarctic circles. "South of the Antarctic Circle, the Sun is above the horizon for 24 continuous hours at least once per year (and therefore visible at midnight) "

Forget the critics that say the moon is only reflecting the suns rays. The moon is producing its own light - as always the bible is true - and the false science club is wrong - and the spiritual war continues.

And now we have part 1 of the world’s first non-Timelapse of the 24 hour sun in Antarctica!

4K quality & it’s also a 360 degree view so you can turn your phone/tablet around & look in any direction or use mouse/kb on PC

For the uninitiated and stupid, the link I posted is part 1 of 3. Dave McKeegan is working on how to get the full 24 hours uploaded on one single video but YouTube has a limit of 12 hours.

Also for the uninitiated & stupid, if you’re not prepared to look at real evidence, go away!

Why are we supposed to watch a 10-hour timer?
It would appear that some people think watching a 10 hour video of what actually took place in Antarctica is boring, despite demanding & then denying such evidence.

However real truth seekers will see this footage as genuine proof that there is indeed 24 hour sun in Antarctica. Flat earthers are too interested in the inside of their own little bubble to care.
