The Fiery Darts of the Wicked One in Ephesians 6:10-18 Are Involuntary Thoughts and Feelings both Physical and Emotional as a form of Temptation, Torment and Harassment caused by unseen invisible demons / fallen angels.

That's why we need to ask The lord Jesus Christ to put The Spiritual Armor of God on Us because It's An Invisible Spiritual War. That's why it's so strange when people become Christians and they start experiencing spiritual warfare and they don't understand what is happening to them. Demons can mess with people's feelings and thoughts to try and Trick them into thinking it's themselves. :



"Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on The Whole Armor of God, that you may be able to stand against The Wiles of The Devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, Against Spiritual Hosts of Wickedness In The Heavenly Places.

Therefore take up the whole Armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all The Fiery Darts of The Wicked One. kind of reminds me of the dynamic of applied modalism and applied trinity. We have a regenerated spirit, but still have a regular body, this is why the shield is faith.

When so deeply focused on God through faith, there's no room for the attacks to get through.

A good post. I just would expand the list of what a fiery dart or other attacks that Satan attempts on Christians. Satan will use anything he can to throw at us. He desires to steal, kill and destroy. Infirmities, oppression, lies, sifting like wheat, relationship problems, nightmares, sleeping disorders. No not everything is a demon problem, but certainly there is a possibility it could be. Thus, we are to be on alert, to have discernment, and of course the authority and power that God gives us is more than enough to defeat the wiles of the devil.

Isaiah 59:19 KJV: So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.

Yes, so glad that it is not even close in the fact between the devil and Christians. For a time it may look like he wins but The power and authority and salvation from God is no match at all. You were great though in pointing out some ways the devil tries to take advantage. The battleground is the mind and that is why renewing of our mind is so important. God bless!

Probably one of the most honest and succinct posts I've seen in awhile.

We always think it's "just me" standing before the Lord. But if we are "in truth" it's truthfully not just "me." It's me and the tempter (or his own.)

The first piece of equipment is TRUTH. If we lie and say we have no sin or our sin is NOT of the devil, we have already took a fiery dart to the head.

Jesus was very clear on this point: Where the word is sown, Satan does in fact enter the heart to STEAL it, i.e. SIN. And that still transpires after salvation, constantly. Mark 4:15

If anyone "thinks" Oh, that doesn't happen to me they have been stolen from on the spot

The Word is also meant to aggravate or increase sin in preparation for the final execution of the devil and his messengers. Romans 7:13

The Word is also meant to give power to sin, for the same reason, 1 Cor. 15:56

All the time we spent dodging the fact is better served to hitting our enemy head on and seeing that beast rise from the sea of humanity, which in case anyone hasn't looked lately, seems to be progressing. To me anyway.

Let's get that fat wicked spiritual hippo out of the water with the spear of God

And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days.

Falling is mandatory to be "in truth."

It's as simple as knowing the tempter is internal, and that our sin is in fact "of the devil," 1 John 3:8, Mark 4:15

It's when we think it's only "me" that we're in trouble, because that's never the case. Heb. 10:22 for example shows we always have an evil conscience to contend with

Here is more context to your verse in Daniel 11
33 “Those who are wise will instruct many, though for a time they will fall by the sword or be burned or captured or plundered. 34 When they fall, they will receive a little help, and many who are not sincere will join them. 35 Some of the wise will stumble, so that they may be refined, purified and made spotless until the time of the end, for it will still come at the appointed time.

v35 says some and v34 says some will join. I think one could glean alot from Daniel on this. I do agree with the principle that men fall or are afflicted at times. But the armor of God scripture implies that in the end we can overcome.


Proverbs 24:16 "For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief."

Ps 34:19 “Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.”
