You you folks read this all telling scripture. The wealth of the wicked is laid up for the righteous.
Some simple questions.
Whom are the righteous?
Whom is the wicked one?
And whom are the wicked?
And Do the wicked serve there master the wicked one?
If they do then they both are accountable and numbered as one.
Each kingdom has one king and many subjects.
So the wealth of the wicked, whose whom are under the wicked one is laid up for the righteous. Because God makes him to pour out his wealth out of his treasures. From the hands of he wicked of this earth. The wealth of the wicked us laid up for the righteous. You might want to get a bible and study the whole of the story.
The wicked are simply those who are operating in Satan's realm, and are identified in Ephesians as the "Children of disobedience."
God causes his rain to fall on the just and unjust, but some people spend their lives achieving their riches through perversions of what God intended for good.
I believe what's being discussed here has to be balanced out with correct teachings on God's sovereignty. God set up laws for this world to operate under; and hate, greed, and self-righteousness are not those laws.
But, I believe people have a concept that when you're on Satan's side, he's going to promote you, get you money, give you blessings, and while I believe that does happen, I believe Satan's nature is to "kill, steal, and destroy." Whatever he bestows on the lost, is intended to hurt them and others, not help. Not every wicked person prospering out in the world is being prospered directly from Satan. God is merciful and whether they are a believer or unbeliever "it's the goodness of God that brings man to repentance." It's not the wrath.
It should be said whether you're wicked or whether you're a child of God, God's going to get his goals accomplished. Everything you put your hand to is God's and while we have a free will to live as stewards for God, we can choose to do what we will, but it will not stop God from accomplishing his promises. We see that in the crucifixion of Christ, how the Pharisees really thought they were accomplishing something, and if Satan really understood what was happening, he never would have crucified Jesus.
Further illustration:
You take a person working on Wall Street, stealing and lying to people, Satan's going to try to bring as many people he can to his side. He's trying to get the people who've been robbed to stop looking to God, and get into bitterness, he's trying to get the investment banker operating in pride and deception so his heart is hardened to God, and he's trying to spread fear and lies, to those in their presence.
God is trying to be merciful the banker in-spite of his shortcomings, and merciful to the investors and lead them to seeing that money is not the answer to their problems but through Jesus they have been made rich. But as long as they operate in this corrupt manner, you can assure yourself the stock will plummet and the financial world will bleed because of it. Where will that money go, once it's out of the hands of the wicked. It will go straight to the just, those cooperating with the laws of God, and to those whom the earth has opened itself to.
It just so happens that the wicked are under deception and are on the wrong side of things, and are losers by default. So when the world goes belly-aching about the economy, the government, you have to ask yourself, "Are they believers?" If not, expect things to go just as God planned for your life. Nothing has changed in God's eyes, because if he promised he'd get it to you, he's going to get it to you.
