This is exactly what i was thinking, but wanted some confirmation. Thank you. :)

My wife and I are going back tomorrow. I an hoping this place could be our new church home, but I'm leaving it in God ' s hands to guide us.

Now I have been in situation where they tried to force me to follow their understanding. I moved on. That was my situation at bible college.

Even if a congregation is in error, some will stay to help others overcome that error. So you have the right idea, stay or go by the leading of the Spirit. If you get called to leave, well just shake off the dust of your feet on the way out the door. I ended up leaving a church I had been a member of for over 17 years when the pastor fell into error and wanted to control people's lives.

Actually he was both and thief and a murder. If you break one of them you break them all. Satan stole 1/3 of God angles. Satan stole Glory from Adam and Eve. Did not Jesus come to undue the works of Satan.
Well that is the standard doctrine if you get your doctrine out of Augustine's writings or Paradise Lost.

There was never a 1/3 of Yah's angels that fell with Satan. The 1/3 of the 'stars of heaven' that are pulled down by the dragon is an event during the tribulation and has nothing to do with Yah's angels. It has to do with what the old testament calls the pagan 'host of heaven' that is associated with the sun god, the moon goddess, the planets, constellations, signs of the zodiac and 'all the host of heaven'.

You don't build doctrine by taking a single verse totally out of context. That is how false doctrines get started.

Thanks for your input. Simple said i disagree with your understanding. Let us examine the book of creation. In the first book. In the first chapters. There is found one the forth day of creation. That God created the two lights the greater and the lesser, and the stars also. These is referring to Christ the Holy Spirit and those whom are saved. This is speaking about the 4000 years mark of man kind. God had already created natural light before this point.
God is the father of Lights. Actually fallen angles are demons today. Satan is a fallen angle himself. Jesus testified of this himself. And that fall did indeed cause the 1/3 of heavens host to be kicked out of Heaven. There was a world here before Adam.
I will try and do a writing on this. And friend it is not one scripture. Let me give you a hint. ezek 28

I guess this wouldn't be a problem if I thought Satan had any virtue, or goodness in him to repay anything, but he doesn't.

Basically stealing is his nature. John 10:10-

He doesn't come to repay people, let alone a just repayment to compensate for your lost. So I would say your pastor friend is operating in error, and this is not supported in the Word of God.

Now our Heavenly Father has already defeated Satan, and restored this lose through the blood of Jesus, and wants you to see manifestation of that through the scripture Romans 8:8 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

But, if you would like to work together with Satan to recover loses, then don't worry about God working it together for good; you're looking to Satan to recover this lose.

But, if you believe God's promises, and your looking to see the prince of the powers of this world pay for what was done, then you stay in God's word, you begin confessing your victory, and look forward to seeing His enemies become a footstool.

Satan has been stripped of everything and is in no position to pay anything back. His debts are too great, and he will be bearing those debts in Hell for eternity. He's a non-issue for you.

The person who cooperated with Satan, who robbed on his behalf- you can begin to lift this young man up and command Satan to remove the deception from his heart, and pray laborers across his path to get him the truth about God's mercy and love, and watch God really work a miracle. Can you imagine this person through such an experience, turning themselves in, confessing, and looking for a second chance for with the Lord.

But this kind of teaching just doesn't hold up with much of anything in scripture. Sad to say, I'm not surprised. Satan delights in seeing people confusing such simple truths, he has no intentions of making good on anything.

You you folks read this all telling scripture. The wealth of the wicked is laid up for the righteous.
Some simple questions.
Whom are the righteous?
Whom is the wicked one?
And whom are the wicked?
And Do the wicked serve there master the wicked one?
If they do then they both are accountable and numbered as one.
Each kingdom has one king and many subjects.
So the wealth of the wicked, whose whom are under the wicked one is laid up for the righteous. Because God makes him to pour out his wealth out of his treasures. From the hands of he wicked of this earth. The wealth of the wicked us laid up for the righteous. You might want to get a bible and study the whole of the story.

Give me a hint? The spiritual realms and the ancient paganism as presented in the bible has been my study area for many year. I even went to bible college to learn Hebrew to read the old testament in the original text. Over 20+ years ago I knew a high priestess of the biblical goddess Ashtoreth that triggered my research.

You have already proved your not qualified to teach on this. I suggest you read the thread http://www.christianforums.com/t7694114/ on 'Demons' in the Spirit-Filled Charismatic forum. I have written articles on this topic.

If you actually understand Eze 28, explain what each gem means and how they compare to the gems of the Ephod.

Your doctrine is based on the writings and interpretation of Augustine and spread into common misconception by works like Paradise Lost. The position that Lucifer was the greatest angel and fell with 1/3 of the angels pre-garden of Eden is not based on scripture but on fiction. Common doctrine tries to interpret scripture based on the pre-conceived bias from those works.

Besides, Eze 28 had 3 prophecies. The first is to Baal, the second is to Molech under his title Melqart (king of the city [of Tyre]) while the third is to Ashtoreth, the primary deity of Sidon. They are the pagan unholy trinity.

The wicked are simply those who are operating in Satan's realm, and are identified in Ephesians as the "Children of disobedience."

God causes his rain to fall on the just and unjust, but some people spend their lives achieving their riches through perversions of what God intended for good.

I believe what's being discussed here has to be balanced out with correct teachings on God's sovereignty. God set up laws for this world to operate under; and hate, greed, and self-righteousness are not those laws.

But, I believe people have a concept that when you're on Satan's side, he's going to promote you, get you money, give you blessings, and while I believe that does happen, I believe Satan's nature is to "kill, steal, and destroy." Whatever he bestows on the lost, is intended to hurt them and others, not help. Not every wicked person prospering out in the world is being prospered directly from Satan. God is merciful and whether they are a believer or unbeliever "it's the goodness of God that brings man to repentance." It's not the wrath.

It should be said whether you're wicked or whether you're a child of God, God's going to get his goals accomplished. Everything you put your hand to is God's and while we have a free will to live as stewards for God, we can choose to do what we will, but it will not stop God from accomplishing his promises. We see that in the crucifixion of Christ, how the Pharisees really thought they were accomplishing something, and if Satan really understood what was happening, he never would have crucified Jesus.

Further illustration:
You take a person working on Wall Street, stealing and lying to people, Satan's going to try to bring as many people he can to his side. He's trying to get the people who've been robbed to stop looking to God, and get into bitterness, he's trying to get the investment banker operating in pride and deception so his heart is hardened to God, and he's trying to spread fear and lies, to those in their presence.

God is trying to be merciful the banker in-spite of his shortcomings, and merciful to the investors and lead them to seeing that money is not the answer to their problems but through Jesus they have been made rich. But as long as they operate in this corrupt manner, you can assure yourself the stock will plummet and the financial world will bleed because of it. Where will that money go, once it's out of the hands of the wicked. It will go straight to the just, those cooperating with the laws of God, and to those whom the earth has opened itself to.

It just so happens that the wicked are under deception and are on the wrong side of things, and are losers by default. So when the world goes belly-aching about the economy, the government, you have to ask yourself, "Are they believers?" If not, expect things to go just as God planned for your life. Nothing has changed in God's eyes, because if he promised he'd get it to you, he's going to get it to you.

Actually you can study the word till the cows jump over the moon. Let me give you a hint us prophets see into the realm of the spirit. Have you ever seen a principality. I have. I had been praying in the spirit for seven days. Then the Lord opened my eyes and i could see this principality. It looked to be about 200 foot tall. It had a head, And under the head was like a sheet that draped to the ground. With in it were men and woman bound i could see there heads and shoulders pressing against the skin trying to get uncaught. The skin was a shinning green tone. Like that Guy from terminator the shinny cop. But green.
Prophets see the word thru Gods eyes. As we are taught by God. Those are great examples you have given. But as a none educated simple person whom knows nothing. Might i recommend you become more educated about the Father of the faith, Aberham. You see old Abe was a poor youth whom God made wealthy. Buy making the wicked bless him.
Then there are his sons. Same thing.
Then there are a host of other in the bible. Same thing.
There is a reason your read the bible. Get wisdom and Get knowledge.
Now you seem to lack some basic understanding of how God blesses his people. God has principles of conduct and operations in his kingdom. I as a prophet live on a very
small amount, God does not allow prophets to be in the world.
Gods kingdom is to benefit the saints and the gospel of Christ. He desire is that all be wealthy. Will he get that desire. In the end he will. But tithing offering and the feast are about Gods system to provide for the church and the Gospel.
And indeed God strips the wicked and gives it to his people. In the exodus account you will notice that God had the wicked give silver and gold to the slaves. So once again you might want to ask for your education fees. And yes God controls it all. Even everything satan has.
And how is it you are not deceived yourself. May i ask that you ask God to open your eyes and your heart to understand his word. Works wonders. Knowing about God is not knowing God. Knowing the words in the bible does not mean you understand how they enter weave.
I always enjoy when people speak of the free will. We prophets know a bit about that. As each person whom becomes a christian will soon find out that free will is given to believers for one reason to break them down and make them dependent on God. When Christians determine that they are going to live in Gods modified will. Sin. God will indeed allow that for a season only. May be years or weeks. Then they will find that God sets a snare in there path. Puts them in the pig pin. Until they stink to high heaven and then drags them back with a hook in there nose. So much for your free will thinking. Believers do not exactly have a free will. As you are thinking. And prophets do not either. Our food is to do his will and is in him.

You'd better ask the Lord to help you out instead of demanding it from satan. If satan robbed you of your joy, you're not gonna demand him to return it sevenfold, because he has no joy. If he kills someone, do you demand he raises him from the dead?
Jesus didn't claim the stolen money back from judas nor satan.

My wife and I went to a Charismatic church last night for their prayer meeting. My wife shared what happened at her work that day- one of her coworkers had been mugged in the parking lot at work at gunpoint, and the theif stole her car. The pastor introduced us to the concept of the Sevenfold payback. Apparently, since Satan was behind the mugging, Satan owed her (My wife's coworker) 7 times what he stole from her. And the pastor began praying, demanding that Satan make recompense sevenfold. He based this upon Proverbs 6:31 ("but if [the theif] is found, he shall restore seven times. He shall give all the wealth of his house." [World English Bible])

I had never heard this before, although I grew up in a Charismatic non-denominational church that seemed very simillar to this one (minus the Hebraic roots I grew up with [keeping the Old Covenant Festivals, for example], but including the speaking in tongues, an emphasis on spiritual warfare and resisting Satan, etc). Is this concept a new one? Have you ever heard of it before? What do you think about it?

Here is a link that seems to describe the idea pretty much in detail. The Sevenfold Payback | Evangel Tabernacle

I am super sad that I am just now seeing this and all the poor comments that are undermining faith.

The thief has been at it in my life since I was a child. I didnt understand my authority over Satan. I certainly do now. I encourage anyone who has had injustice in the flesh and spiritually to claim back SEVEN TIMES! Add it up. Put a demon in it. Satan has a huge storehouse if our blessings. He’s greedy!

Heaven has a justice system and there are so many areas in the Bible that mirror information of God’s heavenly laws.

Have faith like a child and believe! Trust the Holy Spirit not man. Go back and hriugh your life and write down what’s been taken and claim it back.

With God ALLLL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE.
NEVER trust the response of man. The thief can EASILY slip in and discourage you even through those sold out to Christ.

Please never rely on answers from man. Always ask the Holy Spirit to bring confirmation So tired of people who talk others out of faith acts. There’s definitely a mocking spirit behind it.
