I would like to ask everyone if having tears (crying) during prayer is normal? Is it a sign of anything?
I am an intercessor on Sunday mornings for my church, but I have not had any training. At my old church, one man whom I respected said he often got tears when he prayed, and he said it was a sign of the Holy Spirit being present.
Sometimes when I pray with others, I get tears rolling down my cheeks. I worry a *little* that people I'm praying for may be scared or uncomfortable to see me with tears. I am not embarrassed, but I wonder if I should try to refrain? Or would that be holding back the Holy Spirit?
Does anyone have some thoughts or advice? Thank you.
