Acrostic poems are amazing to me because they can be so simple and so complex at times. Even though a lot of poetry can be simple and complex to I just seem to favor acrostics. Acrostics also serve as a brainstormer for me sometimes. I wrote an acrostic about what Strength is.
Strength
Standing back up when you fall
Though it was extremely hard
Really wanting it to end it all
Every day you still go on
Nothing stands in your way
Grateful for all you have
Thankful to live
Happy to go on
