When I’m tired, and have no strength,
I call to my Lord for help.
Trust His promise, trust His grace,
I rely not on myself.

He calls to me, trust His Word,
Do His bidding, do His will,
Go where He sends, speak His words,
Do not let faith go downhill.

We’ll have good days, bad days, too,
Life not always be a thrill.
Heartaches, sadness, loss of hope,
Other days we climb uphill.

Human bodies, they give out,
Strength renewed in Christ, our Lord.
Satan whispers, “Will you not doubt?”
By our faith we are restored.

Feelings come and feelings go,
Trust in feelings will not work.
Trust the Lord, believe His Word,
Do not your faith now let shirk.

Life will have its miseries,
Sunny days, days of rain, too.
Sometimes you’re on top the world,
Other days feeling the gloom.

By our feelings we can’t live.
They can be so up and down.
Trust the Lord in all your ways,
Do not from your faith backdown.

Always God, He keeps promise.
We must keep our promise, too,
Walk by faith, and with purpose,
Don’t let life our faith unglue.
