Wow, it's gotta be pretty embarrassing to lose to a convicted felon.

Hopefully the Democrats will someone a little better next time and have a proper primary.

I think the result of the election says more about the intelligence of the American voter than it does about the Democratic candidate.

To me, it is positively mystifying that a person who is a bully, a convicted felon, and an adolescent can be elected President.

Look to the voters, not the Democratic candidate.

Yeah... "everyone who didn't vote for us is stupid" that will be a great sales pitch. That'll dispel those "elitism" perceptions.

Maybe they can make a commemorative calendar for their 2028 campaign
"You might be a redneck if..."
Jan: "you didn't take a gender studies course"
Feb: "you want stricter immigration laws"
Mar: "you didn't have your 5th booster shot"
etc...
</sarcasm>

Just shooting from the hip here...
But perhaps it may be better if they formulate a strategy that doesn't imply that 55% of the people in the country are retarded and/or brainwashed for not voting for them.

That would require a little humility on their part and acknowledgment that they perhaps missed the mark on some things and maybe made a mistake by trying to pander to the most radical 10% of their base with some of the things they got on-board with over the past 8 years.

Goes along with deplorables and garbage, racists, homophones, xenophobes, transphobes, misogynists and bigots.

This attitude has been prevalent among far too many democrats. It's one of the reasons they lost again. And until they drop this elitist attitude they aren't going to be able to garner much interest in compromise.

Jack Smith, the special counsel who indicted President-elect Donald J. Trump on charges of illegally seeking to cling to power after losing the 2020 election, said in a final report released early Tuesday that the evidence would have been sufficient to convict Mr. Trump in a trial, had his 2024 election victory not made it impossible for the prosecution to continue.
“The department’s view that the Constitution prohibits the continued indictment and prosecution of a president is categorical and does not turn on the gravity of the crimes charged, the strength of the government’s proof or the merits of the prosecution, which the office stands fully behind,” Mr. Smith wrote.
He continued: “Indeed, but for Mr. Trump’s election and imminent return to the presidency, the office assessed that the admissible evidence was sufficient to obtain and sustain a conviction at trial.”
The Justice Department delivered the 137-page volume — representing half of Mr. Smith’s overall final report, with the volume about Mr. Trump’s other federal case, accusing him of mishandling classified documents, still confidential — to Congress just after midnight on Tuesday.
Convicted-Felon-In-Chief.

Just one more disappointment for the Democrats. Just one more too little too late.

Ah, calling him "convicted felon-in-chief" is a form of goading

Be careful

They don't care. The Democratic Party believes everything the liberal parties says even though they cannot think for themselves

Apparently, being Christian is a form of "hate."

The Democratic Party is no friend to the faithful of ANY denomination of Christianity!

Be blessed!

Right after they get done with investigating those nude pictures of Hunter Biden. Priorities, you know.
Empty assertion is empty.

There are no nude photos of Hunter Biden.

Marjorie Taylor Greene is saddened to hear you didn't watch her presentation in Congress.

I'm saddened you didn't bother with a 2 second google fact check.

Well she did present the very thing you claimed there were none of just a post ago. Your like or dislike of her has no bearing on that.

Whether it is a great sales pitch or not is not relevant, and I think you know this. The matter of the intelligence of the American voter is a question of fact, whereas the issue of sales pitch is a question of strategy. These are not the same things.

Obviously, a suggestion that the voter is "stupid" is offensive and impolite. But I think we both know that fact alone does not bear on the truthfulness of the assertion.

It is very hard for me to understand how a wise thoughtful person would vote for Donald Trump. Respected intellectual Sam Harris has said he would rather see a randomly selected American adult in the White House than Donald Trump. Think about that, think about how bad that could turn out.

Sam Harris (who I actually like his take on many things) is entitled to his opinion on that, but Sam Harris is also the same person who basically said "Donald Trump is such a unique threat, that if Democrats needed to cheat to beat him, that would be excusable"

Here was Harris's statement:

In a now-viral interview on the “TRIGGERnometry” podcast, Harris, 55, happily dismissed those who said it was “completely unfair” to have shut down The Post’s Twitter account to silence its reporting.

The influential philosopher noted how critics called it “a left-wing conspiracy to deny the presidency to Donald Trump.”

“Absolutely it was. Absolutely. But I think it was warranted,” the “Waking Up” author claimed.

"Biden literally could have had the corpses of children in his basement. I would not have cared,” Harris insisted.

Harris was interrupted by one of his two interviewers, Konstantin Kisin, who said he “really struggled” with his guest’s troubling admission.

“I’m interested in democracy,” Kisin told Harris. “You’re saying you are content with a left-wing conspiracy to prevent somebody being democratically re-elected as president?”

Harris then pivoted to an analogy that compared keeping Trump from winning a second term to working to “deflect” an “asteroid hurtling toward Earth.”

I think you're failing to acknowledge just how radical some of the things are that people were voting against when they voted for Trump. Sure, you'll have the Red-Hat crew that basically worships the ground he walks on and genuinely love him. But that doesn't make up the entirety of the voter base that voted for him.

Some of the social policies the Democrats have advocated for over the past 4-8 years have actually left-flanked many Western European countries. (And it should be noted that even in a few of those countries, they've been voting for their own "Trump-equivalents", right-wing parties are gaining some ground over there)

Whatever you see as bad or problematic about Trump, many people see things like unrestricted elective abortions (with no limits), under-restricted immigration, gender affirming for minors, attempted coerced censorship, and forced DEI initiatives to be just as problematic.

You may think that's myopic or short-sighted, but the Harris statement above indicates the same type of sentiments going in the other direction.
(Harris saying "I don't care if Biden had child corpses in his basement, I wouldn't have cared, they need to silence anything critical of Biden to make sure Trump doesn't win")

That's basically an acknowledgment that the left also has certain red-line issues, that are so important to them, that they'd be willing to overlook a lot in order to make sure the other team doesn't win.

What you have done is just repeated your offensive assertion. Which is, the American Trump voters is stupid, but it's just impolite to say so. You've also made the claim that it's "truth".

It might be very hard for you to understand, but to claim that you don't understand it, therefore anyone who voted for him isn't wise or thoughtful is simply making yourself above everyone else. You are thoughtful and wise becauae you didn't vote for him therefore everyone who did isn't.

I know a LOT of very thoughtful and wise people who voted for him. Your understanding is irrelevant. Your elitism is exactly why people are fed up is the liberals.
