When you scale up a load bearing structure, be it made of steel or calcium; Then you must also factor in the tensile strength and load bearing capabilities of the material in question. Thus a human skeleton twice or thrice the normal height, will not be able to maintain its integrity unless the vital load bearing bones are increased in girth. The other way around this is to change the material comprising the skeleton from calcium based to steel or composite materials.

Such a giant with just a scaled up skeleton would suffer broken bones were he to fall from low heights of 2 to 3 metres.

Even though living bones are extremely durable, they still must conform to the "function dictates form" rule.

What I don't understand is how a few photoshopped pictures are more convincing evidence than several hundred years of scientific observations and peer-reviewed documentation from which accurate predictions can be made and the bulk of the medical and technological benefits of the modern world have been derived from.

I mean, seriously now! Those images are from a photo-editing *contest*, but you believe them? Just like that? Yet shown concrete evidence to something you didn't already assume, you would call it fabricated or lying or just wrong on its face for no other reason.

Some christians fear that atheists are out to destroy their faith. It's amusing, because it's mostly christians who have ruined my faith in humanity.

Well considering that the Earth is gaining mass albeit in extremely small amounts from meteors and cosmic dust then suffice it to say that the Earth's gravity being proportional to its mass and since the mass has increased then so has the Earth's gravitational pull; This increase is so small as to have absolutely no noticeable effect. So the answer is NO the earth's gravity was not less when the dinosaurs roamed the earth.

This same argument can be made against dinosaurs, but we know they existed. All that is necessary is a lower gravity in the past and the giants would have walked around just fine.

Maybe one of the reasons why those large prehistoric animals went extinct is because of an increase in the earth's gravity.

Hey you are the one who claimed gravity was different back then when your so called giants roamed the Earth.

If you want to change the laws of physics then learn some physics. Showing us fake photos which were from a competition regarding altered photos is basically "bearing false witness".
