A heckuva convincing argument would be to show me your supposed demonic activity.

You're right, it's rather silly arguing with some old foggy on the internet. :D

Eh? What's that? Dagnabbit. Young whippersnappers!

Seriously, since I'm no longer involved in the occult, I'll have to pass on that. I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree since it's not important enough to me that you believe for me to let this become uncharitable. Forgive me if anything I have written seemed that way. Peace.

I think it is OK for a Christian. BUT for me it has to be under one condition. The morality of the story of the game has to be kept conscious. I will play a game if the evil always loses in the end or the characters in the story have to suffer from mistakes. I play because I enjoy the fantasy + strategy, not because I actually enjoy hurting or killing.

The magic aspect has to be either pretty colors on the screen or something of a "pure" nature to me. Seeing constant images of evil things can and really will effect a person- even if they cannot notice. (It is part of the reason why I can't play diablo 2 anymore)

Show me someone flying on a broom then.

Why do you insist that someone of the occult (witch) must fly on a broom. You are using a stereotype that has been created out of nowhere. For someone to be a witch or of the occult and use magic does not mean they have to be able to fly on a broom.

If their "magic" has no effect, then they aren't doing magic at all. All they're doing is dancing and singing.

The stereotype is not created out of nowhere. There is actual historical basis for the image of a witch on a broomstick. Except it was a sexual act involving drugs and a phallic tool, not a magical one. They were certain they were flying, thanks to the drugs, and people who heard their moaning and screaming thought they were casting some powerful magic as well. Does that mean it was magic? No.
