Where have I "condemned" anyone? Since you are monitering my posts you'll have no problem listing them.

And a wikipedia reference? A trained parrot can write an opinion there.

Oh boy, the self-loathing gay guy charge. Next up, the troll charge. Gay debate tactic number 5 is it?

I must be a bank robber too then.

Homophobe is a neologism.

BOO!!!! isn't going to work either.

Now, how about the OP? Since GLBT's think Christians are commiting a hate crime for believing that homosexuality is a sin, why should Christians bother to witness to them and present the Gospel to them, when it could land them (the Christian) in jail or get them sued and have them lose their homes and jobs?

It is a question, and nothing more.

Do you have an answer or are you just going to continue to condmen me post after post?

Er, you condemn, or at least lie about, homosexuals every time you claim we are all promiscuous, and are recruiting in schools.

So is a word being a "neologism" make it invalid? The words "internet" "email" and "prion" are all words that were invented years after the term homophobia was coined.

I see no reason gays should be any different from the rest of us and escape the in-your-face arrogance of Christian certitude.
Pot, meet kettle.

Homosexuals are always trying to force their beliefs on others. Such activists are constantly trying to force their views on others through Impact and other groups. Why are they so intolerant?

You can mince words all you want about whether they are technically 'recruiting' or not, but it cannot be debated that homosexual activists are trying to force their views on traditional American culture through the schools.

Ah, back to the old "no true scotsman" fallacy

Ah, yes. The old "no true Scotsman fallacy" fallacy.

"No True Scotsman" is based on a subjective standard.

The Bible gives an objective standard to determine who is and is not a Christian.

This probably has to be the biggest lie promoted by the religious right. You have the right to live your life according to your conscience, including the right to legally marry the person of your choice that also agrees to choose you. Yet you would deny gays that same right. I really think at the day of judgment, should Christians be right, God will hold you accountable for the lie that people are infringing on your rights simply because they want the same rights you are already given.

Sure it can. In fact, every real example of "teaching gay" in the schools has been merely to admit that gay families exist and this is largely taught in the context that we should treat people equally.

If merely mentioning that gay families exist is "teaching gay", then we should also get rid of all mention of religion in schools, particularly in history when we talk of the Puritans moving to Plymouth, the Quakers to Pennsylvania, the Mormons to Utah, etc., since that is "teaching religion" and by your definition "recruiting".

'Nuff said.

You don't "try to be a Christian"

You're either born again and being a Christian follows naturally, or you're not and it doesn't.

BANG! WHACK!

They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us; but their going showed that none of them belonged to us.

Well said Apostle John.

This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all.

If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth.

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all[b] sin.

If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 10If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word has no place in our lives.

Never forget that the Church was persecuted for not wanting to be like the world. This is real history. A dark hour came upon them when people hated Christians for not wanting to be sinful anymore. Only this. How many Christians went to their deaths desiring not to be like they were before they were Christians. John new the hour in which he lived. Notice how the world talks about and acts towards Christians now, when it comes to gay issues.

Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

For everything in the world—the cravings of sinful man, the lust of his eyes

and the boasting of what he has and does—comes not from the Father but from the world.

The world and its desires pass away, but the man who does the will of God lives forever.
Warning Against Antichrists

Dear children, this is the last hour; and as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come. This is how we know it is the last hour.

They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us; but their going showed that none of them belonged to us.[/quote]

If you're not a Scotsman, you are not a Scotsman. "Test all things and hold firmly on to the truth."

There is a reason why the skeptics and common anti's are now suffering the cognitive dissonance. They can no longer bully us.

You know what the disciple Polycarp (not me the real one) said when he was taunted and tortured by anti-Christians? (And he was really tortured and taunted.)

"Is that all you got?"

It got his adversaries even more disturbed.

Really, our enemies are just trifle when all is said and done. Our hope is not a guess, it is God.

That's the thing, though. What makes their constant cries of "NO TRUE SCOTSMAN, NO TRUE SCOTSMAN" so annoying is that they do it not even having any idea that what they're talking about is not the no true Scotsman fallicy (kind of like the morons on YouTube who are so proud of themselves for allegedly blaspheming the Holy Spirit because they think they've committed the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit just by saying "I don't believe in the Holy Spirit").

It always reminds me of the Eddie Murphy skit on Saturday Night Live where he plays the guy in prison who uses all of these big words that he has no idea what they mean.

So you think that telling people that they're wrong for being who they are, even though they didn't choose to be that way, is loving?

"Who you are" is not based on a sexual act. If you base who you are because of a certain sexual lust or attraction then you are prioritizing sex and lust as the biggest thing in your lifestyle. If that is true, then you are more concerned about pleasure for yourself instead of trying to search for the real you.

A person who has truely found himself will realize the faults he has commited. He will admit his mistakes and humble himself before God. He will turn away from his sins and not justify them anymore. Its called contrition. And without contrition there can be no repentance. And without repentance you are still in your sins. If you do not feel sorrow for the sins you have commited then you still have alot of searching to still do as far as finding your true self.

Actually, it would appear that you are wrong about people defining themselves based on "sexual acts" -- married people definitely use being married to define who they are. And according to many here, the definition of marriage is to have sex with someone to start a family.

Now, you'll probably try to claim that marriage is so much more, that it is based far more on getting along and loving that person you married outside of sex. However, when homosexuals try to say the same you disagree and say simply it is only about sex. So it doesn't matter which definition you decide on, either way it shows you are trying to judge based on a double standard.

Neither is being gay.

Being gay - or being straight, or being bisexual - isn't about sex and lust. It's about what gender of person you're likely to be attracted to.

And I don't know if anyone - gay, straight, bi, or whatever - who bases who they are entirely on their sexual orientation. Nevertheless, their sexual orientation is a part of who they are. It's something that might have an influence on one of the biggest decisions they'll ever make (i.e., who they get married to), so it's an important part of who they are.

David.

Gay: Male homosexual. Homosexual sex with people of the same male gender.

Lesbian: Female homosexual. Homosexual sex with people of the same female gender.

Bi-Sexual: Sex with anyone of any gender.

Transgendered: Whatever?

GLBT.

All denote sexual behavior desired, sought or engaged in.

Mr Johnson, is just a man in my Church. He has never labeled himself by his sexual thoughts or actions. But, is he being a bigot or hateful for labeling himself "Mr" ??? This gay rights thing puts a damper on everything.
