Just this morning I was reading Ezekiel 29:18-20,

"Son of man, Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon caused his army to serve a great service against Tyrus: every head was made bald, and every shoulder was peeled: yet had he no wages, nor his army, for Tyrus, for the service that he had served against it:
Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will give the land of Egypt unto Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon; and he shall take her multitude, and take her spoil, and take her prey; and it shall be the wages for his army.

I have given him the land of Egypt for his labour wherewith he served against it, because they wrought for me, saith the Lord GOD."

And I thought, Russia is doing Gods work. They deserve the spoils.
Think how this principle applies today. President Putin is as Nebuchadnezzar (who became a believer when he saw God work through Daniel), and Egypt is as Ukraine.

People might not like it, but argue with Almighty God then!

"The kings heart us in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water he turneth it whithersoever he will. " Proverbs 21:1

When God humbled King Nebuchadnezzar for his pride He spoke from heaven and said, "the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will." (Daniel 4:32)

Then later Nebuchadnezzar himself said, "I blessed the most High, and I praised and honoured him that liveth for ever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom is from generation to generation:
And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou?" (Daniel 4:34-35)

Why would God do such a thing? Look what God said when Israel sinned against him (ironically the same sins the West has been committing! Idolatry, covetous, bloodshed, abuse of the children, rampant immorality)

"Lo, I will bring a nation upon you from far, O house of Israel, saith the LORD: it is a mighty nation, it is an ancient nation, a nation whose language thou knowest not, neither understandest what they say.
Their quiver is as an open sepulchre, they are all mighty men.
And they shall eat up thine harvest, and thy bread, which thy sons and thy daughters should eat: they shall eat up thy flocks and thine herds: they shall eat up thy vines and thy fig trees: they shall impoverish thy fenced cities, wherein thou trustedst, with the sword.
Nevertheless in those days, saith the Lord, I will not make a full end with you." (Jeremiah 5:15-18)

Repent and turn to the Lord Jesus with all your heart! Turn from your wicked ways, weep for your many sins, if perchance God may have mercy on the nations that have sinned greatly, and committed abominations thats stench reaches unto heaven and has provoked Almighty God with flagrant disregard for His holy law, and flaunted their sin, declaring their sin as Sodom, and either denying God outright, or creating another god, a false Christ with false prophets that declare its ok to sin, after all, love is love.
Well, lust is lust, and when lust is concieved it brings forth sin, and when sin runs its course, it brings forth death.

"The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God." (Psalm 9:17)

May Jesus return soon! Even so, Come Lord Jesus!

Simply applying a scripture that was meant for a different time and place often can result in error. No one ever should take their own opinion and justify it with scriptures. I have no way of knowing if you did that, but I write it as a good principle for any reader. One has to seek God to have a knowledge of His will. If we did assume Putin was like an OT leader, why are things taking so long and the Russian sacrifice is so great? Seems to me that by starting an arms race and hardening their alliances with many who do not share values with the West is going to leave them in far worse position. Perhaps their alliance with China will work for them, but it would have been better to join NATO themselves as was previously discussed. I didn't just apply Scripture out of the blue. It is as a type of, and as Paul wrote, these things are for our examples. (1 Corinthians 10:6 & 11) Here he refers back to Israel in the wilderness, writing to Gentile believers in Corinth.
Jude also set forth Sodom & Gomorrah as an example for those that afterward would live ungodly. (Jude 7)
Why is it taking so long? In the natural, both the nature of warfare, and some error at first, thinking Ukraine would happen like Crimea. Also, the Russian Bear is often slow to awaken from its hibernation, but once it gets going, builds momentum and comes to full strength. You see this in spite of losing so many troops and equipment, they have the upper hand on every front.
From a Biblical perspective, Nebuchadrezzar didn't march right in either. He besieged Jerusalem in the 9th year of King Zedekiah, until the 11th year, for a period of about 18 months. (Jeremiah 52:4-7)
We also know from the Ezekiel 38 & 39 prophecy of Gog & Magog, with their coalition of Iran, and other Arab states, including Libya, where Russia just moved some equipment from Syria to there, that Russia must still be a power to come against Israel in the future.
And where are Israel's allies in that scenario? There's a complaint lodged, that's all. That battle belongs to the LORD of Hosts, Yahweh, and He shall be sanctified and glorified.
This present situation is setting up that alignment of nations.

Moral decline in a nation that has the light, and claims to know God is definitely a thing. And in God's sovereignty He sometimes will use a brutal nation, a pagan nation to accomplish His judgments, such as when Assyria took Israel, and Babylon took Judah. There are some books & videos by Jonathan Cahn showing the correlation between 9/11, the 2008 recession, and other events linked directly to America's sins, and wrongful dealing with Israel.

Like it or not, we are in the end times, and witnessing things the Bible spoke of thousands of years before. Israel becoming a nation again, reborn after 1,870 years of laying desolate, and her people scattered: this very thing is written in the prophecies of Isaiah and Ezekiel.
This is also why it's so important to be sure your soul is secure in Christ, repent and be born again, adopted as a child of God through Jesus Christ, trusting in His blood shed for the remission of our sins, and receiving the blessed Holy Spirit to guide us and empower us to overcome sin by the new life He gives us, according to the Scriptures.

So where is this mine? You wrote all of that irrelevant "prophasy" stuff, but can't be bothered to even briefly summarize the news report. (I see no reason to think your video is any more relevant than your text.) I've not heard of this in my news feeds.

Consider how US reacted when Soviet Russia began to move missiles into Cuba in 1962, right next door. The fact we provoked that by placing Jupiter missiles in Italy & Turkey don't help matters, and at least ALL missiles were removed thanks to Kennedy & Kruschev working it out.
Now US & the West trying to move right into Russias border, and in fact a place with great historical significance for Russia. Not to mention the perverted morals the west tries to get other nations to adopt.
