Rocks formed naturally vs Rocks created by God in Genesis 1

A simple alternative to explaining the carbon-dating flaw is the fact that our Scientific knowledge of rock formation is limited to how they are formed now on their own; either igneous, sedimentary or metamorphic rocks, a slow process and build-up of rocks over time, from volcanos, sea beds, heat and pressure...naturally formed on their own over a long period.



But the imperative for carbon dating disregards whether the first rock formation had a creator altogether.
Were the first Rocks formed within a day? That's the question, the next question is how do we measure the initial earth rocks that were formed in Genesis 1?

A rock formed in a day by an Omnipotent-Being does not show measurable results on a simplified carbon-14 apparatus. Technically nothing, can form naturally on its own in a day, especially a rock.

We can't measure the supernatural (definition: a manifestation or event attributed to some force beyond scientific understanding or the laws of nature).

So Scientists base their Hypothesis on "what if" there was no creator, how would things exist naturally?


Overall, the same theory on our "evolution", if God didn't create humans in a day, then the hypothesis is how are we formed naturally, scientists theorise that this type of chance requires "millions of years of evolution". That's how complex creation is, it's an attempt to comprehend the supernatural, but without a creator.

As much as they want us to assume it is, Evolutionary science isn't an argument against Creation, it's a theory on a world and universe without a God.
Every Scientific hypothesis is based on the formulated template – "If there's no God, how did we get here?".

This means the author had the other books committed to memory before writing the
first five.

The books are more about the relationship between God and humans and that humans
failed to hit the mark, which resulted in the fallen state of our world. The Creation Story

Jesus used the Scriptures according to the intellectual level of the people he was speaking to
in order to provide spiritual understanding.

This doesn't mean that the creation story in Genesis should be taken literally.

Education should try teaching kids to think instead of indoctrinating them in the latest woke progressive mumbo jumbo. I think you are right about not being any more intelligent than thousands of years ago. IQ may have actually gone down. Critical thinking seems to be lagging. I worked for almost 2 decades at a technical college and as the systems analyst I analyzed the entrance and aptitude tests. Not good. A large percent of young people have to take remedial math and reading. Best students were the home schooled, then the private school. Funny that the advent of the tech age has not improved test scores or comprehension. If they need an abortion or birth control they know where to go. They got diversity and pronouns down pat. Ask who the first president was or what the area of a right triangle is? We are in trouble.

We have far more knowledge today than the people when Jesus walked the earth.

I'm not talking about faith here, but literal knowledge about the world. In Jesus
day, people still thought the earth was the center of the solar system and the sun
revolved around it. So, Jesus taught according to the intellect of those he was teaching,
To tell them about airplanes and cars would've been too much for them to handle.

Also, faith in God, we have more today than the Apostles did, for the Holy Spirit
had not yet been given to them. Once you taste Divine Love, you'll only grow
in faith.

I believe Teilhard De Chardin was right when he said that humans evolved biologically
over time until about 10,000 years ago. Then, the biological evolution slowed way
down. However, intellectual and spiritual evolution continued and continues today.

We no longer burn heretics at the stake, nor believe witches have power over us.

The question in the OP seems confusing to me. Rocks are rocks. There aren't some rocks that were "directly created by God" vs "rocks formed naturally". Those are the same rocks.

That's like asking to differentiate between human beings created by God and human beings that came about through natural procreation. There isn't a difference.

Gradualism can really cause problems. We see this with the Oroville Dam Crisis in 2017. We need to understand catastrophic issues to deal with them. They just barely avoided disaster. 180,000 people were evacuated from their homes because they were in harm's way and came close to losing their homes.

We do NOT really know the rock-forming processes. All we know now are rough skeletal models.
This is well said in Job 38. Stand before God, no one can say: I know how was rock made.

There ARE differences. In petrology, there is a recognition about the "original rock" and other "derived rocks".
For example, none of the rock we can find in the crust of the earth is "original". They generally think rock on some asteroids could be "more" original than others. It is funny that the "original rock" is still only a concept and not well defined.
