Revelation 22:18-19 KJV

18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and [from] the things which are written in this book.

Is this a general warning intended for everybody or is it specifically aimed for certain people like Scribes or translators who might have a great opportunity to introduce error or heresy?

Would this include anybody who willingly misquotes Revelation is speech? or just people trying to commit forgery?

Is this something a person is guilty of something they could repent of? (ie.Is it unforgivable?)

This is refering to someone changing the Bible itself with the intent of changing God's word.

All sins are forgivable but the intent must not be intentional and non changeable.

Why would you believe it meant anything other than what it says? It is a warning against exactly what happened when Westcott and Hort decided they needed to re-write the New Testament in 1891. They added to and subtracted from the New Testament to form their own version which denies the deity of Christ by omitting over 64,000 words from the New Testament, changes what one must believe to be saved from a belief in God and Jesus to a belief in an unspecified whatever, etc.

One can identify the so-called "Bibles" derived from their work by Rev. 22:14, which they perverted to read "Blessed are those who wash their robes, for they shall have the right to the tree of life...". "Bibles" derived from their text are clearly counterfeits of the true Word of God and fulfill the Biblical prophecy that during the time of the end the Word of God will become corrupted.

How do you know wescott and hort "Re-Wrote" the New testament? Didnt they just interpret an older text than the Textus Receptus?

One has to ask oneself whether or not the author of Revelation had this "curse" revealed to him by God or whether or not the writer merely made it up himself to make his work sound more authoritative............
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I have been reading some of your post and since you seem to question the authority of God's word you seem to be one who is doing what John warns not to do.
