Yes, our God deals with the enemies around us; but also He corrects us and strengthens us against what can be enemy things within us.
If we pray the way God's word says to pray >
"the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." (in Philippians 4:6-7)
So, not only does our Father take care of our circumstances, but His own peace guards our "hearts and minds". Our God is almighty; so I see therefore how this peace is almighty to protect us from any and all evil things which would degrade and destroy us from loving.
Anti-love things include >
nasty selfish anger > James 1:19-20
bitterness > Ephesians 4:31-32, Colossians 3:19
unforgiveness > Mark 11:25
arguing and complaining > Philippians 2:13-16
lusts > not only immoral, but any and all dictatorial drives for pleasure > 1 Corinthians 6:12,
depending on comfort pets and people and pleasures > 2 Corinthians 6:12, 1 Peter 5:7, 2 Corinthians 1:3-4
self-righteous criticizing > Matthew 7:1, Hebrews 5:2, Philippians 1:9
conceit of looking down on anyone, instead of having hope for each and every person > love "hopes all things" > 1 Corinthians 13:7 > 1 Timothy 2:1-4
fear and worry > Philippians 4:6-7, 1 John 4:17-18
stress of workaholism and causing ministerial burn-out > Matthew 11:28-30, Colossians 3:15
But God's peace is almighty to defeat and protect us from any and all cruel and chaotic stuff which would mess with our minds and hearts.
Plus, this peace is our Creator's peace making us creative for how to love each and every person, with hope for any person, at all > love "hopes all things", we have in 1 Corinthians 13:7. So, not only does our Father protect us and take care of us, but He has us doing what can help others.
