Hello All,

I had this dream last night that was so real. I was 9 months pregnant. I past my due date by 1 week and I went to the doctor and was told that I was having triplets. After that, I ended up walking around the hospital halls and waiting room and considered eating spicy food to kick off the labor. Well, in real life I can't handle spicy foods anymore because I can't digest it. So I nixed that idea in my dream.

Next scene is I'm in the labor and delivery room actually in labor but not dilating. The contractions are there but not strong enough for the doctor. I'm telling him and my mom that my contractions are 15 mins apart. They don't believe me, saying that I should be dilated a lot more if I'm 15 mins apart. In real life I've never been pregnant so I have no idea. Well, again no one believe me and I knew I was giving birth, it was coming I could feel the head of the baby crowning.

Through out the delivery and labor, I can see pictures of different babies being held while I was giving birth. I finally saw and held my baby. I didn't see that it was triplets, only one baby. Then I woke up.

I have no idea what this dream meant. Usually, pregnancy and delivery of the baby means a new beginning or even a death. I have this feeling and had this feeling upon awaking this morning that it was a lot more then a new beginning, almost prophetic of what's to come.

I need yall help. Thanks in advance.

do dreams even mean anything? I mean, do they actually have a meaning of some sort. It's just your mind portraying images while processing them during your sleep.

This dream was so real Thomas that I actually thought it was real life. Like I actually felt pregnant even though I was sleep. But when I woke up I remember the dream like it was lucid but I actually was deeply asleep. I say that because I didn't hear my alarm to get up for work. I believe that dreams do have a meaning.

Many people nowdays are having dreams about either being pregnant or giving birth. I believe they are prophetic.

Giving birth is somehow equivalent to giving birth to Jesus (in us). Like the woman in Revelation, it says that she gave birth to a man child who will rule the world. Some say that refers to Israel and physical Jesus. But I believe it refers to the Church and the image of Jesus being born in us.
The Bible verses support the theory that we need to grow up into full stature of Jesus, Paul was in labor until Jesus is formed in us.

Somebody I know had this dream: he swallowed a metallic object. And God told him: this is the seed which I have planted in you. Then he was pregnant. (he is a man) And there were (I think) two other people who were pregnant.
He said that there was something about number three, but he couldn't remember what. But something about number three was important.

Some other people see dreams when they give birth to baby Jesus. And they know that it's Jesus in their dreams.

I dreamed that I was pregnant, although I did not give birth to a baby. I only remember that something like an umbilical cord made from golden light was protruding from my stomach and connected directly to the golden light above me. (I was in the room, but I couldn't see the ceiling, but only the golden light. Somebody would say: it's like the heaven opened and I was attached to all that light coming from heaven by this umbilical cord. I felt very important and very amazed. I felt like I was a part of something holy and glorious...)

Son 8:5 Who is this coming up from the desert leaning on her lover? Under the apple tree I roused you; there your mother conceived you, there she who was in labor gave you birth.

Mic 5:3 Therefore Israel will be abandoned until the time when she who is in labor gives birth and the rest of his brothers return to join the Israelites.

Rev 12:1 A great and wondrous sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head. Rev 12:2 She was pregnant and cried out in pain as she was about to give birth.

Hello makeupgirl:

Yes, I have been having many dreams about being pregnant. It does mean the beginning of something - something about to be birthed in God's people. One of my last pregnancy dreams was that I was going into labor - so we are nearing the beginning of something big. Three is symbolic of something of God - remember the Trinity - Three. Divine fullness. 15 means something, too. In one of my dream books it means "rest."

Maybe it means you will have a baby at some point in your life. I don’t understand the triplet part of your dream. Unless it some how saying that you will have three children not triplets but just three total. Did you notice if your baby was a boy or girl?

ChildofGod31 also has a good explanation on what it could be.

There is actually Scripture which states this: creation was formed through and by Jesus.

Therefore, metaphors were not taken from creation. Rather, creation is metaphors taken from the truth, pointing to the truth.

Pregnancy then can speak - at the most sublime value - of spiritual awakening.

The product of 'godly offspring'.
