Philippians is so full of Christ-honoring content; and I love how prayer, thanksgiving and joy are linked together in chapter 4; as they are also in 1 Thess. 5.

I also like these verses, especially since the exact word form of #2168 is used in3 times in Paul's epistles and 1 time in Revleation.

2168. eucharisteo yoo-khar-is-teh'-o from 2170; to be grateful, i.e. (actively) to express gratitude (towards); specially, to say grace at a meal:--(give) thank(-ful, -s).

eucaristoumen <2168> (5719) used 4 times:

Colossians 1:3
We are thanking/eucaristoumen <2168> (5719) to the God and Father of the Lord of us Jesus Christ always concerning ye, praying for ye.

1 Thess 1:2
We are thanking/eucaristoumen <2168> (5719) to the God for all of you, making mention of you in our prayers.
1 Thess 2:13
And because of this, we are thanking /eucaristoumen <2168> (5719) to the God that in receiving the word of God from us, you did not accept it as the word of men, but as the true word of God.
And this is the word which is now at work in you who believe.

Reve 11:17
saying "we are thanking/eucaristoumen <2168> (5719) to Thee Lord! the God, the Almighty, the One being and the One was.
That Thou hast taken the great power of Thee and Thou reign".

Yes,Chapter 4:8 is definitely one of my favourite verses as well.
When we read this, it often will bring to mind some things we may be doing or may have a question about and everything becomes clear.

If we think about it, Scripturally the Lord Jesus is the personification of all those 'whatsoever things' mentioned in the verse.
