Orthodox icon of St. Jerome?

Anyone know where I can find a wood-mounted icon (probably 8x10) of St. Jerome? Some friends of ours are being chrismated on Saturday, and their family is very devoted to education and homeschooling. They've come to Orthodoxy through Anglicanism, and they have a particular interest in kind of rediscovering the ancient western expressions of Orthodoxy. So I kind of thought Jerome, revered through history for his scholarship and learning, would be appropriate.

I can only find one online so far, here: Monastery Icons - St. Jerome

It looks a little...I don't know...cartoonish? I've found some nicer ones on various websites as images or photographs, but not available for ordering. Like the second one down in this page: Icons of St. Jerome of Bethlehem - Scs. Hieronymus.

For some reason, that just appeals to me more. But then, what do I know?

I've found St. Ambrose of Milan connected with learning and scholarship, too. Any other particular saints to consider?

Anyway, if anyone can link me to a site that has any other icon of Jerome, I'd appreciate it. I'll probably order the one above tomorrow if I can't find anything else.

I assume there's nothing in particular wrong with that image of Jerome writing in a book...the concern is with the group that produces and sells the icons?

I found a few things in that sticky that certainly make me think twice about buying anything from them...however if the icon itself is not somehow heretical etc., can I have it blessed by the priest?

If I can find an authentically Orthodox source, of course, I'll buy from them. Sounds like the people behind Monastery Icons aren't authentically anything recognizable.

even though he is somewhat controversial, St Augustine of Hippo comes to mind. the Venerable Bede as well since they were Anglican.

I definitely think St Bede is a far better choice than St Jerome. Just because St Bede is awesome. He is also more of a scholar. Okay, St Jerome is very good translator, but not a great theologian...

There's always St. Catherine the All Wise. Not only is she awesome, there are plenty of icons of her.

Can I get an icon labeled "St. Bede the Awesome?"

I didn't even think of him.

I did find a nice icon of Jerome at another site (skete.com) that I think will fit the bill. Maybe I'll get them a Bede icon too. Can't have too many, right?
