Hopefully most of the fraudulent voters will be deported by then.
Not a good place to hang your hopes given how rare voter fraud is.

If you want the R's to endure in power, best bet is deficit fueled tax cuts or spending. Worst plan is anything that spins inflation back up, like a labor shortage in food or construction industries.

Midterms in 2 years. Thats consequence enough, potentially.
Why do you care? You shoild he rooting for that. Gets rhe Democrats back in power in Congress. Or do you think Trump.will be dictator for life by then and it won't matter? Actually you don't think that or you wouldn't be saying something about the midterms.

We saw what the Democrats did with the economy. I look forward to seeing what highly successful businessmen and to economic advisors can do with it.

It might be rough before we see improvement; but this is true with most new businesses. It usually takes about two years for them to get into the black.

Now that he's our President elect; I'm waiting for all of those Democrats who kept reassuring me that he would be a Dictator, to pony up and put forth that referendum. LOL!

NYC is now home to over 58K ‘criminal’ migrants — including more than 1,000 gang members: ICE

There are over 58,000 illegal migrants who are convicted felons or facing criminal charges roaming NYC — and close to 670,000 across the country, startling new data obtained by The Post shows.

Of the 759,218 illegal-border crossers living in the Big Apple the feds were aware of as of Nov. 17, a jaw-dropping 58,626 – 7.7% — were either previously convicted of crimes or had criminal charges pending, according to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency data.

And of the 58,626 migrants with rap sheets, 1,053, nearly 2%, are “suspected or known gang members,” according to the agency.

“These numbers make it clear what everyone but our elected officials already know: sanctuary city laws are endangering New Yorkers by shielding criminals instead of protecting law-abiding citizens,” said Councilman Robert Holden, a moderate Queens Democrat.

Nationwide, the numbers are just as galling.

Of The nearly 7.8 million illegal immigrants in the United States, 662,586 – or 8.6% — are convicted criminals or have charges pending, according to ICE data through July 21. It’s unclear how many are suspected gang members.

I hope that border security emphasis helps curb their migration north across the border back and forth.

They are a just a small subset of the planned deportations.
It's going to be sometime before we get to that. I'm not sure why you are so concerned about this. Arent you for living wages? I don't recall you being so concerned about the cost of thinga during those conversations.

Im talking about political consequences.

As for myself, I dont see food inflation as a big impact on my life. But Im definitely concerned about the economic prospects of people generally.

I don't think you are when you bring up food inflation as a possible issue, but then turn around and support living wages. It appears that just want illegals here. If you were really concerned you would come out and say you support illegal coming and working in jobs so the owners can pay them less to keep prices down. Is that what you believe?

I want a lot more legal immigration. I want the whole thing to be above board. And I want them to make decent money.

Yes this will drive up prices. But theres a lot of wealth being generated in this country. I think the hard working "bottom half" should be getting more of it generally.

I dont want a mass deportation absent reform that would permit a lot more legal immigration. Im fine with kicking out serious criminals asap.

It sounds like we have a great deal of common ground here to work with.

I think the democrats are rooting for a failure in the economy.
I dont see this. For instance:
-they remain typically against mass deportations which they think will damage the economy.
-they remain typically against tarrif based trade wars, which they think will damage the economy.

I wouldn't say they're rooting for a failure. More like they figure one's coming, and it will be left to the next Democrat in the White House to fix it. As usually happens whenever a Republican gets in office.
