I think God prefers Christian Music over Rap..... that you can't even understand >.<......

I mean i have been in you're situation....... i used to listen to eminem, 50 cent, Chamillionare, ludacris........ but the day that i got saved...... I just felt something come over me and told me to change my radio to 89.7........ which i'm sure everyone's familiar with???

What is &#8220;Christian Music&#8221;? Plenty of rap artists are Christians.

But again I am failing to see how this &#8220;getting saved&#8221; makes it so you can only like &#8220;chrsitian music&#8221;

Well..... i consider Christian Music to be songs about God's grace.... and Jesus.... and how great they are..... etc...


I don't consider songs about sex and killing people and cheating on their girlfriends....... or being a gangster.... or any of that crap ......


And those "rappers" that are Christians...... i would guarantee you that they would put their money before God


Christian singers on the other hand actually donate their money to charity...... and give to the poor.....

You don't see 50 cent or eminem givin their money away!..... They would go to a concert before they would try to convert someone to Christianity or talk to them about problems.... unlike us Christians

You are vastly limiting yourself, you should not hinder your musical array just because they are not talking about Jesus.

I agree with MezzaMorta, music doesn't always have to praise God to be good.

and 1cross, how do you know what kind of music God would like? Did he explicitly tell you? And not all rap is about killing, drugs and sex, there are different kinds of rap...don't just listen to the stuff on the radio!

It seems every time rap is mentioned on this forum an argument starts...like this site has a weird hatred for it, lol.

Alot of old school west coast, a little bit of the new school west and east, can't say i'm a fan of the south though. I.C, Dr.D, Snoo, Wu, Meth, TribecalledQ, Don Omar... alot of good stuff in there. Plenty more too.

B.I.G. was pretty good, i'll take 2Pac over him anyday but Biggie's stuff wasn't bad.
