I haven't heard the Secret Service complain, and all Trump was requested to do was put a better lock on the door--which he did at his own expense. Contrast that with Joe who kept classified documents in his garage.

Yes, God knows the SS are going to publicly complain. And no, you are wrong about what was asked of Trump. It was far more than "all Trump was requested". No one knew there were documents in Biden's garage. At Mar a Largo, Trump made it a routine to brag about his importance and classified documents, with again, spies actually being caught at Mar a Largo. See the urgency difference?

Not a fake story. At least one document appears to be about the nuclear program of another country.

Wrong. We learned about the nuclear secrets one due to the affidavit and warrant. The reason we don't hear about it now is his crimes are so numerous, others are taking precedence in news cycle.

Documents are classified for national security reasons, no matter what the classification level.

I misspoke as I was alluding to things like war plans, HUMINT assets, SIGINT programs, etc. Daily briefings for Ukraine from 2015 are still going to be classified, but are irrelevant in 2023. That was my point.

A president has full authority (with the exception of nuclear) to declassify documents, authority that a vice president or senator does not have.

An irrelevant point with regard to Donald's crime. The classification status is irrelevant. The statue specifically says "WILLFULLY AND UNLAWFULLY", and while President Biden and Vice President Pence willingly and voluntarily found and turned over their documents, Donald and his lawyers violated the statutes in question and lied to NARA.

No, I know what I'm taking about. SCI refers to how docs must be stored and secured. In a drawer at Donald's hotel where foreign nationals can wander around is neither secure nor confidential.
