My grandmother passed away this morning.

My last living grandparent has passed away this morning in her sleep. She was almost 95 years old. Please pray for her as she makes her way from this life into the next.

I don't know why I cried so much when my dad called me 15 minutes ago and told me. I didn't cry when her husband died back in 2011 at the age of 86. I guess I was much closer to her than I had thought I mean, we had did everything together and u have so many fond memories of her. My wife cried too even though she didn't cry when my dad's parents passed away (they were my favorite grandparents because we did everything together and I grew up with them for most of my chidhood.

I miss my grandma though. I wish she was here right now to comfort me. I really hope she's with Jesus right now because she loved him.

My dad and I briefly talked about her cancer but I don't think her cancer or her fall a week ago is what killed her. We think she passed away from old age she was after all almost 95 when she died. I mean, she couldn't have been superwoman for forever. She had 3 different kinds of cancer and lukemia since I was in high school. I'm almost 40 years old she should have left this world years and years ago so she's VERY lucky to have made it to 94 years old. Thank you for your prayers over the years and now. Now she it's finally at peace and no longer in pain.

I'm almost 40 years old she should have left this world years and years ago so she's VERY lucky to have made it to 94 years old. Thank you for your prayers over the years and now. Thank you. My mom is supposed to let me know when the funeral is going to be so my wife and I can attend. It was my mom's mom that passed away. My wife is going to try to get the day off on short notice due to it being a death in the family but if she can't get the day off she's going to use her PTO. I definitely want her to be there with me for support and to meet some of my cousins and aunts and uncles she hasn't met yet. My grandparents had 9 kids so I have a lot of cousins from across the world that i havent seen since my grandfather died over ten years ago.

Lord God I lift up Neostarwcc to You right now and I pray for Your comfort for her and her entire family concerning the loss of her grandmother, I pray for supernatural strength for her and her entire family! I pray that Your hand of blessing would be upon them, I pray for strength, provision, and comfort for them all! Thank You God!

her wake was on Friday. I didn't go and my mom understood because I didn't go to the wake of anyone else who passed away in the family. I just generally don't like crowds and I don't like that they just display the deceased's body out there openly for everybody to look at. I don't want to see my loved one dead at least at the funeral the casket or urn is closed and you don't see anything.

Anyway since Grandma passed in Winter they can't bury her until the springtime when the ground thaws so the funeral won't be until then. I'm definitely going to the funeral and saying my last goodbye to my grandmother but it might not be until late march/early April until the ground thaws enough to bury her.

I've had time to pray and mourn and think. it's now been ten days since grandma died and i think for the most part i'm okay. When Spring comes the wound will open again when we lay her to rest but that happened with her husband too even though I wasn't as close to grandpa as I was to grandma. It's going to be a hard funeral but I'll get through it with my mom's help because my mom is going to be mourning more than I am. It afterall is her mom that passed away.

Yes I will update everyone when my mom lets me know this spring when the funeral will be. Hopefully spring will come in early March this year I really want to get the funeral over with and I'm getting sick of this really cold winter. It's been such an awful winter for me I just want it to end between everything that's been going on and with Grandma dying and all. That was just the icing on the cake. Her health has been slowly declining for years it was only a matter of time and we've been planning for her passing for many many years but it still kind of came as a shock.
