MTV Greenlights Tila Tequila Dating Show, Debuts Oct. 9

MTV has greenlit a bisexual dating show with a star who built her fame on MySpace.

“A Shot At Love With Tila Tequila” is scheduled to premiere on MTV Oct. 9.

The 10-episode series will feature contestants who want to win the heart of Ms. Tequila, who has more “friends” than anyone in the history of the online social network MySpace.com.

MTV says Ms. Tequila is a bisexual, which means the contestants on the show will be sixteen straight guys and sixteen lesbians.

“The finalists move into her mansion, live together, and each week Tila will narrow down her suitors. “Every episode will culminate in a dramatic ceremony unlike anything you’ve ever seen before,” according to the network.

“Tila Tequila made a name for herself by doing things her way, captivating legions of fans online, both men and women. Now she is taking that attitude and sex appeal to her own TV series where she is looking for a mate...by again, captivating a group of both men and women," said Tony DiSanto, executive VP of series development and programming for MTV. “The show is a rollercoaster ride of drama, conflict and emotion, busting stereotypes and challenging the norm—proving that the rules of attraction are made to be broken.”

Hey Everyone!

Today is the big day! I know I have made you all wait for what seems like a lifetime about my big news, so I won't keep you waiting any longer! So here is my big life changing announcement....are you guys ready???? Here we go:

I HAVE MY OWN REALITY SHOW THAT WILL BE AIRING ON MTV!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's right everyone! I am soooo excited! This is what I have been keeping top secret for soooo long! My new reality show on MTV will be like NO OTHER SHOW ON TELEVISION HISTORY! My show is about finding true love, because for me....having over 2 million friends is cool but sometimes it makes it hard for me to find someone real, and someone whom I can trust and love.....but there is a catch.....the show will be about me finding love as a BISEXUAL!!!!! THAT IS CRAZY RIGHT? So on my new reality show there will be 16 male contestants and 16 female contestants all fighting for my love....the only twist is....yes, there is another twist....the only twist is that these guys and these girls have NO IDEA that I am bisexual and that they are competing against each others sexes!!! GUYS AGAINST GIRLS....WHO WILL I END UP HOOKING UP WITH????? WILL I BE STRAIGHT OR LESBIAN IN THE END?????

So this is what my new ground breaking reality show will be about. These guys and girls won't know that I am bisexual until I reveal to them both later on the show....and from then on....it's all Craziness and drama and sexy times all on my new journey to find true love as a bisexual! WHEW! Is this crazy or what????? May the better sex win my love! My new tv show is called "A SHOT AT LOVE WITH TILA TEQUILA" there will be 10 episodes and each show is 1 full hour each!!!!

This is sad to me ... this girl has a deep desire to be loved, but she's looking for fulfillment in the wrong places.

Christians need to pray for her, and for all the young men and women who will be affected by this.
Tila is being put on a pedastle by MTV as "cool" and "hip" and will be seen as a role-model for young people. I wonder how many young ladies will decide its ok and sexy to be bisexual as a result of the influence of this show?

Most people on "reality" type shows have a deep desire to be loved and are looking for fulfillment in all the wrong places...unfortunately thats what makes those shows so popular...

Its not the shows...its the people who tune in everyday and watch them...I pray for the "casts of those shows" but I pray just as much for the people that watch them...

oh dear God in heaven............

I suppose I should just ignore & bypass the "shock value" as these types of posts are often meant to irritate & adgitate Christians -
but then I see the age and it makes sense... I remember when I was 16 I was all radical about pushing my love of hard rock to any Christians in my rebellious attitude.

sign of the times God told us would come. We're following Europe's spiritual decay. I agree too, the only reason they make shows like this is bcuz people watch them.
Look at Paris Hilton - it basically wasn't until her sex video was publicized that she rose to her icon status. How SAD that a porn tape makes you a celebrity to be honored. Even Bette Midler (queen of all things crass lol) commented on that in an interview - how shocked she was that it catapolted Hilton into mega superstardom!!

I only watch a few reality shows - but they're more contest type things - like Top Chef or Project Runway or sometimes the flipping houses stuff..
Not any of the dating garbage - when I did see some dating shows it made me happy that I wasn't dating anymore
