Just a friendly reminder,
Jane Fonda is in this movie.

This Dixie chick Extreme from the 60's, has decided to
come back to movies.

You let her know how you feel about her and her actions.

I know I won't be seeing it.
Even if she is the title role.

i'm not going to watch it.
it doesn't matter that jane fonda's in it. it's going to be just another jennifer-lopez romantic comedy. lopez can't act. all her movies are terrible. even the trailer i saw has bad acting.
and it doesn't make a difference that michael vartan is in it because i watch movies for quality, not some star i fancy ;) .

didn't even know it was a J-lo film.

But I do agree most of her films are "B" or worse.

symphonyb, no this is where J-Lo's character meet's Michael Vartan's character when they (literally) bump into each other. They start dating, fall in love, etc. And get married. Jane Fonda plays Michael Vartan's mother. She absolutely hates J-Lo's character and the feeling is mutual... from what I've seen in the previews, they basically try to kill each other (not really, just annoy each other to the max)...

I personally thought it was hilarious, but then I actually liked The Wedding Planner (the only J-Lo movie I've ever seen LOL) and honestly I don't give a rip about an actor's past or their policital views (Jane Fonda)...

If I see it, it'll be when it comes to video since my hubby adamently refuses to see it, ever.

Is it because of the type of movie or because of the people in this movie?

A political statement or because it's a chick flick?

specifically because Jane Fonda is in it... but I also think it's too chick-flick-y for him anyway... even if she wasn't in it, he probably still wouldn't see it.

I'm sorry, I don't mean to get preachy or anything, but if God is big enough to forgive you your past, why can't you forgive Fonda hers? I'm not accusing anyone of anything, don't get upset with me, but really! Let the past go.
I think she's a terrific actress, though I may not see it because I don't like J-Lo either. I hope Fonda makes more movies and I'd see them just to watch her.

I'm sorry, but what did Fonda do that's so bad?
If she's not politically-inclined to the same party as yours, then... so help me God.

you mean aside from sedition, treason, giving comfort to the enemy and simulating her desire to fire on American aircraft?
