The current president got under 50% of the citizens' votes.

Now, a large number of American citizens are protesting against the
president's policies, and how Elon Musk is trying to carry them out.

It's not just the traders - a lot of Australians have their retirement funds tied up in superannuation which in turn depend on the markets. My wife and I are two of them.

No doubt the markets will claw their way back in time, but retirees are also drawing down on reduced superannuation funds in the meantime which will probably not fully recover.

I think Australia wills start moving more towards the Asians, notably China and Japan, and move away from the USA thanks to Trump and Musk.

I didn't get on with my father to put it mildly, but he did have some words of wisdom one of which was "In politics yesterdays enemies becomes tomorrow's friends, and yesterday's friends become one's enemies."

The current president has made a business out of using surface
language of solving everyone's problems, effortlessly.

The reality, is that the current president does not want personal accountability,
and is a very poor manager. It seems that he hires people to manage his policies,
who have little knowledge of what they are managing. Then, when they fail, or
become unpopular, he fires them and hires someone else.

This president does not have the understanding that

"The buck stops here!"

And, the "here" is the president's desk.
