Dr. R. Cox says: “I find from a passage in Erasmus that at the early period of the Reformantion when he wrote, there were Sabbatarians in Bohemia, who not only kept the seventh day, but were said to be…scrupulous in resting on it.” Literature of the Sabbath Question, Cox, Vol. II, pp. 201, 202

It says: “That is, upon the Saturday. It should be observed, that Sunday is never called “the Sabbath’ by the ancient Fathers and historians.” Socrates, “Ecclestical History,” Book 5, chap. 22, p. 289.

Sunday is never called the Sabbath in the Eastern Orthodox church even until today...

Against Heresies, Epiphanius wrote:The Nazarenes do not differ in any essential thing from them [meaning the Orthodox Jews], since they practice the customs and doctrines prescribed by Jewish Law; except that they believe in Christ. They believe in the resurrection of the dead, and that the universe was created by God. They preach that God is One, and that Jesus Christ is his Son….They are very learned in the Hebrew language. They read the Law [meaning the Law of Moses].Therefore they differ from the TRUE Christians because they fulfill until now Jewish rites as the circumcision, Sabbath, and others.
[The Church Father Epiphanius in his doctrinal book, Against Heresies, Panarion 29, 7, Page 41, 402]

Epiphanius tells us that the Nazarenes differed from what he called the True Christians. because they continued to fulfill until now such Jewish rites as the circumcision, the Sabbath, and others.

The name Natsarim comes from the Hebrew word “netser” which means “branch” and refers to Isaiah 11:1 which states “A shoot shall come out from the stump of Jesse, and a branch shall grow out of his roots.” This is understood as a messianic prophecy about Yesshua.

The Natsarim view themselves as restoring the original sect of followers of Yeshua from the 1st century. They believe the original teachings and practices of Yeshua and his disciples have been corrupted over time by the institutional church. As a result, the Natsarim reject many mainstream Christian doctrines and traditions in an attempt to return to the primitive faith of the first followers of Yeshua.

Among waves of Christian refugees who later settled on the Malabar Coast was a community of 400 Syriac-speaking Jewish-Christian families from Uruhu, near Babylon. That community—traditionally said to have been led by Thomas Kināyi (also called Thomas of Cana), a merchant-warrior; Uruhu Mar Yusuf, a bishop; and four pastors—settled on the south bank of the Periyar River. That arrival of the Malankara Nazarani, as they are referred to in Malayalam (Nazarani is derived from a Syriac term for Nazarene, indicating a Christian), in the 4th century is celebrated in their epics, such as the Muraroruvant Kalpanayala and the Nallororsilam and in the song “Kottayam Valiyapally.”
