the named used in mahabharath for the son of sun god is "Karan" not karna. You may double check that too if you like...
Karan and Karna are usually considered to be the same.

Karna (Sanskrit: कर्ण written Karṇa in IAST transliteration) (also known as Karan)

and yet you think Krishna was the one who drifted in water?
Is there anyone else who believes that? May be some Hindus can enlihten me.

I'm obviously no Hindu, but I do know a fair amount about the Mahabharatha. You are correct, Karna (who I believe was Kunti's son with the Sun god) is the one who was sent away by means of a basket in a river, not Krishna.

Shalom,

Last Night I was wondering.. Was Lord Krishna a prophet in Islam? The Hadith says that there have been 100,000 (It might have ben 122 or somewhere near) prophets, sent to different Nations.

So I googled it, and found this small article from Answers.com

It is written in the Taarikh-I-Baabul Kaaf, "Kaana fil Hinde NABIYYAN aswadal lawni ismuhu KaHiNa." [citation needed] This translates as, "There was a prophet of God in India who is dark in color and his name was KaHaN." The constants 'KHN' exist in both the words 'Kahan' and 'Kanhaya' a common name for Krishna. Based on these similarities it believed that Krishna is being refered to directly in this text.

So I guess my question is, Was Lord Krishna a prophet in Islam, or is this Hadith a weak Hadith?
No I am sure that is a fabrication. Not a hadith.
