Once again you have ran and hid from my questions because you were unable to answer my questions.

God bless.

Widowed
Some people have a huge wardrobe of clothing, new clothing they never wear. What a waste, it can clothe the needy and those who are cold. And makeup is Egyptian cultural not Biblical. Christian women should not wear makeup IMHO.

God bless.

So, we are to wear only robes and sandals as those were the only items of attire Jesus sanctioned by wearing?

And, as Judas noted, what a waste of money pouring all that expensive stuff over Jesus when there were poor people around.

From the OT law and prophets we see themes that Jesus picked up - care for the underprivileged. That was the responsibility of those who had the means to do that.

Lydia made her living, from which she helped support the local congregation, by making and selling cloth for the wealthy. Neither her income nor her means of gaining it were in question.

Unless of course the image of a Christian should be of a drab, dull, exceedingly plain, unornamented person who rejects any form of creativity and beauty. But then, one wonders why God made a technicolour world for humans who had the capacity to see the amazing range of colours. He could have made it all in monochrome.

That's the impression I've been getting from several people.
