Stolen valor is a big deal. But I guess it isn’t to some folks, which is quite sad.
Valor: "great courage in the face of danger, especially in battle."
Stolen valor refers to lying about having served in the military or the extent of your military service. Walz has done neither - he definitely served in the military, and he performed the duties of a CSM (and was provisionally promoted to that rank).
So when Waltz lies on his resume and one of his former employers confirms the lie that that lie, you don't care. His former boss called him a coward. But you don't care. Veterans have confronted him and accused him of stolen valor, but you don't care. So what DO you care about? You care about whatever it takes to prevent Trump from being reelected...period.
He lied about the extent of his military experience. So even by your definition, Waltz is guilty of stolen valor.

Waltz lied about the extent of his military service by claiming that he served in combat in combat zones. Hence, stolen valor. Now continue to your "weird" attempt to justify or defend Waltz.
Show me where valor is at issue here. I even posted a non controversial definition earlier.
Then going back on topic, the reality is that Waltz is just as much of a lying fraud as Kamala. Whether it is stolen valor or recreating a false record as VP, neither can run on their performance or record. So they just bash Trump and gaslight.
Except he didn't. He said he carried weapons "in war". Which, while possibly misleading, is technically true - he was part of support forces deployed to Italy during the Afghanistan invasion (meaning that he was deployed "in war") and would have carried a gun at the time. If he had spent 2003 sitting in Minnesota, then yeah, stolen valor. But he didn't, so it isn't.

Back on topic is actually the absurd implication that Harris never prosecuted a case.
Against, nothing in that article where he said it was happening. He said he was repeating what he was told.
Oh bologna! He said he was repeating what he was told, but very selectively. He had his aide contact town officials to ask about this specifically and was informed no, there was no evidence that pets were missing or eaten. Yet he chose to ignore that in favor of hate-mongering for political advantage at the expense of the community.
