The trade war starts tonight.
Ontario governor is threatening huge tariffs - even embargoes - on certain critical minerals. (They're not "raw earths" Trump!)
Some are essential minerals for defence hardware.
1.3 TRILLION in trade threatened - just with Canada.
Americans will be SHOCKED how bad this gets - and how fast!

Will New York have blackouts - or just major price spikes - as serious juice stops flowing across the border?

No one really wants this.
Is Trump OK?
It's time for the 25th.

Or maybe something more in this vibe....?
Just joking - but it's the first time I've seen a Star Wars trailer with a grunge revolutionary song.
At first I thought it was a mistake - but now I get it. Someone in Disney get's where things are heading - and has given us our war cry!

All across America, there are Trump supporters looking at the value of their IRA's and 401K's and realizing their mistakes.

And Trump critics who are blaming the Trump supporters for this mess.

Y'all would be fine with Vance as President? Considering Republicans control both the house and senate, he's not going to be removed from office. I highly doubt that.

Is this what you wanted when you voted for Trump? You wanted a tarrif war with Canada? You wanted your president to threaten Canada and tell them to give their country to him.
This is what you wanted?

Tariffs with your main allies, your main friendly trading partners means inflation, and means your exporters will struggle and will need subsidies. This is what you voted for?

Well….i didn’t want the alternative, I am NOT saying, BY ANY MEANS, Trump is perfect. FAR FROM IT.

I have nothing else to add.

Stop trolling me.

Trump is President.

It’s time to MOVE ON.

Peace.
I'm not trolling you. I know Trump is the USA president. I just think it is the understatement of the year to just say "well, he isn't perfect" in response to someone saying he is tanking your economy, creating inflation, creating conflict and animosity with your best ally.
this is an unforced error, totally unnecessary, your economic woes are completely self inflicted. Why don't Republican supporters try to get the message to their congressmen, to their president that this isn't what you voted for?

You guys voted for him, in part to reduce the cost of living, and he is rushing to create inflation.
Oh, well he isn't perfect.

Are you scared to say things against anything that he does?

I've been hearing "it's time for the 25th!" since about November 8th, 2016. So once again, nothing new about this either.
Well, I'm not saying to invoke the 25th. I think putting tarrifs on is uncalled for and stupid, incredibly stupid, but I don't consider it 25th material.

I'm sure he expected that kind of rhetoric. Along with all the trying to get people to vote democrat next time gaslighting. 8 years of that didn't keep them from voting Republican. But hey, maybe this time it'll work. Then again it's said the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

Believe it or not that wasn't addressed to you, it was addressed to the OP.

Sure, yes I know. But I didn't want to be silent on the matter. I wanted to put my hand up and say that I am not for invoking the 25th just because a president creates an unecessary tarrif war with your best ally and best trading partner.
It's a matter of policy, perhaps ignorance of economics and grace, but probably not a sign that guy necessarily has cognitive issues.

What do you think of the tarrifs on Canada, Great idea, or not so good?
What about trying to force Canada to give USA their country, great idea, or not so good?

Can you think of other more important things you would want your president to be focussing on?

Sometimes, I think a provision akin to a vote of no confidence wouldn't be the worse idea we could adopt over here.

-- A2SG, but I can also see it being abused quite regularly....

I think the scenarios you're presenting are inaccurate.

That was all said before from 2016 to 2020.

Absolutely. The British styled parliamentary system seems way better than the USA system where you vote one man and his backup and give him the keys to the kingdom for 4 years.
