The Glorious gospel! I'd love your thoughts.

EDIT:
In accordance with the rules I created an outline. Fed the transcript to AI, had it generate the points, read over them, made a few minor edits:

  1. God's Holiness and Authority
    • God is perfect, entirely good, and without evil (Psalm 99:9, Leviticus 11:44).
    • As Creator, He has authority over all creation, including humanity (Psalm 104:24-25).
  2. Human Rebellion and Sin
    • God commands us to fear Him, walk in His ways, and love Him fully (Deuteronomy 10:12).
    • Humanity has disobeyed and rebelled against God, ignoring and rejecting His authority.
  3. The Consequence of Sin
    • God’s judgment is certain and severe: the wicked will face destruction (Malachi 4:1).
    • All are unable to obey God due to inherent sinfulness, deserving eternal punishment.
  4. God’s Provision Through Jesus Christ
    • Jesus, fully God and fully man, lived a perfect life, fulfilling God’s commands (1 Peter 2:22).
    • He died by crucifixion, bearing the punishment for sin, as a sacrificial offering (Isaiah 53:7-10).
  5. Salvation Through Faith and Repentance
    • To be saved, you must repent (turn from sin) and believe in Christ (submit to Him as Lord).
    • Belief involves trusting in Christ’s work, promises, and invitation to receive eternal life (Revelation 22:17).
  6. The Promise of Eternal Life
    • Through faith in Christ, you are enabled to obey God and escape condemnation.
    • Jesus offers the “water of life without cost” to those who come to Him.
Call to Action: Repent and believe in Jesus today to receive salvation and live under His loving rule.

It was pretty close to the gospel, but they didn't mention Jesus' resurrection from the dead.
Paul mentioned that in 1 Cor 15:4.
Part of the "good news", is that sin and death had been conquered by righteousness.

So the gospel is 6 minutes long. If you are asking, if this is the gospel a person must believe to be born again and become a permanent born again child of God. Or the gospel a person must believe to receive God's free gift of Eternal Life salvation. No this 6 minute long video is not it.

That gospel is simply stated "to believe in Jesus" read The Gospel of John, John chapter 3 or chapter 4, or chapters 5 and 6.

John 20:30, 31 states
And truly Jesus did many other signs in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book; but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.

I especially like how the video uses the Old Testament verses to lay the foundation. I might want to memorize some of these verses. Another OT verse I like is Isaiah 64:6; “But we are all like an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are lIke filthy rags. We all fade as a leaf, and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.”

I'm not saying this is the only form of the gospel, but we see Paul on mars hill, and we see Peter on Pentecost, they preached much more than simply: "Believe in Jesus" though that was the crux.

It looks like it is man making it, not God. Not worth looking into further due to lack of reason to.
If you don't give reason for what you say, there's no reason to believe what you say is valid.

Amen! Interestingly enough, I was reading Isaiah 64 in my quiet time this morning.

Hmmm. Good point! I think someone else has mentioned this too...

What about chapter 15? Is chapter 15 part of the gospel?

““I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it so that it may bear more fruit. You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away as a branch and dries up; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire and they are burned.”
‭‭John‬ ‭15‬:‭1‬-‭6‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬

Is abiding in Christ part of the gospel?

Perfection overcame death, the original curse put upon mankind. He could have simply said don't put our will ahead of the will of God. This is perfection. It was His only Gospel, the Gospel of the Kingdom of God. "Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth as it is in Heaven". Man will lose authourity over fellow man even as we should not practice that now.

There is only one gospel message that gives a person God's free git of Eternal Life salvation. Which is to believe in the person Jesus for Eternal Life. What must a person believe.

That Jesus is who He says He is. The promised Messiah, the only begotten Son of God and He, Jesus is the resurrection and the life and Eternal Life is received by believing this about Jesus.

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?” “Yes, Lord,” she replied, “I believe that you are the Messiah, the Son of God, who is to come into the world.”

Do you want to conquer and defeat death . Well that is impossible to do on your own, to conquer and defeat death. You must believe in the only person who has conquered and defeated death, who is Jesus. The promised Son of God / The Messiah, the resurrection and the life, with belief in Jesus for God's free gift of Eternal Life salvation, you may also conquer and defeat death.

There is no other way, Jesus is the narrow path

What must a person believe.
Indeed! They must believe in all that Christ says he is! But, the terms "believe" and "faith" have been very twisted in our day. And someone must understand why they need to be saved.

I totally agree with everything you said!

This is the gospel as stated exactly by Paul:

1 Corinthians 15:1-4 KJV
1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

I declare unto you the gospel... By which also ye are saved... first of all... that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures... And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day

No more, no less.
