No. That doesn't mean I was right in doing so. This question, by the way, is akin to "When did you stop beating your wife?" Utter nonsense, in other words.Did YOU wait till you were married to have sex?

There's nothing wrong with that, actually. It has been used in a negative connotation for so long people forget the validity of it. Just because I was young and stupid doesn't mean my kids had to be young and stupid too. In fact, they weren't. They both signed the True Love Waits pledge in junior high, and both presented their chastity rings to their spouses on their wedding days.Do as I say, not as I do, etc.
Unless they're willing to learn from the mistakes of others.People have got to learn and make their own mistakes.
Mesias, how do you evaluate the discussion so far?

The same bullcrap discussion involving pre-marital sex and whether or not it's justified legitimately or not. I've heard practically all of these arguments for both sides of the coin already and, surprise (sarcasm), most think that you have to be married by the state and ceremony to have sexual relations with someone. In the end of this thread, whenever that'll be, nothing will be learned and nothing will be resolved.
I'm not disagreeing with you at all on its meaning and so forth; honestly it doesn't matter if you're right or not because at the end of the day unfortunately people are going to believe what they're going to believe whether it be legit or not. Considering the popular and misinterpreted beliefs I've encountered over the years from 'Christians' I have to say that unfortunately when it comes to sexuality nobody has everything 100% correct, there's always something that somebody got wrong or misinterpreted. That isn't the case for a lot of things but when it comes down to sex it is. I agree with dayhiker on this one but at the same time unfortunately it won't convince everyone. Doesn't mean never to try at some points but when it comes down to it at some point people just won't listen no matter how hard you try. I myself am a firm believer in trying to explain logic and dig down deep into things because you can't take everything at face value, but again, sometimes people can't be coerced even by the most infallible logic and facts. So, yeah. . .So what did you make of the history of the meaning of porneia that I posted?
How do you evaluate that compared to what others say the word means?
Well scripture says "fornicators" won't be in the kingdom of heaven so getting married is important.
The kingdom of God is love, joy and peace.
