Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Is is okay for christians to watch everything?

We don't have to shun television, but we should be careful of what we are watching. Like some have already said on this topic, porn, violence, lust, lying and cheating are obvious things that wouldn't be good for us to watch. We can recognize when we see things that are bad but do these things affect us subconciously when we are seeing them over and over again? I think they may and that is the reason I choose other forms of entertainment. Also, you may have the right intention of watching a good show, but advertisement's aren't much better. There are far better things to be doing than sitting inside and watching TV.
