Climate crisis on track to destroy capitalism, warns top insurer
It doesn’t matter whether or not a person believes that air pollution, results in a heating ocean, and a heating ocean results in massive weather changes. It doesn’t matter with regard to this topic, of insurers.
The insurance companies set their rates, based on statistics, not conspiracy theories. If the statistics say that an insurance company cannot make money selling insurance on homes, or other property, then they will not offer insurance in that high risk zone. And, without insurance, there are no mortgages, or other insurance coverage of businesses.
And without this insurance coverage, there will be no capitalism.
This is the point of the article.
