I'm a new christian and I am curious as to how I might strengthen my faith and find a christian community to share my beliefs with.

Some good pointers here. But just to add something. Remember to pray and ask the Lord for any help. This includes strengthening your faith. I remember, as a 5 year old boy, just after coming to the Lord, one day, I prayed to God and asked Him to strengthen my faith. Well, it's been 44 years, and He's still answering that prayer. He is truly awesome.
