well then get marriage counseling, my pastor will not marry anyone who has not gone through marraige counseling becuase they arent ready...
you can suffer through and make it work anyway.... or save yourself alot of trouble by preparing yourself and your partner.
buy books on marriage and love and relationships and read them, the knowledge you get from them will save you years of heartache, frustration, and trouble. go to marraige seminars... invest in your marriage, its worth it.

Neither of us has a lot of money. But we will be going to premarital counselling and I have been taking books out of the library about marriage and preparing for it. Marriage seminars? I doubt we could afford them. But I definitely agree that you need to invest time and money (even though we can't afford to spend a lot) into getting ready for marriage. Thank you for all of your help Endure2. :)

begin to collect and read books about it now, if your church has a marriage seminar sometimes, i have 2 single friends who attend the couples class at church, and they have a hard time convincing people they are married when their wifes never come :) ( i think everyone knows) but they want the best marriage possible and they are preparing.
go to marriage seminars and things as time and energy will let you even if your not married, i do. the things you learn are so priceless and the earlier you learn them the better.

i dont know alot but there are people who do and they wrote books all about it, go and read them.
prepare for your future.
and i honestly believe books are one of the most power things we have that make a diffrence in the world.

im reading one called "love lessons" it is awesomely written by a lady whos name i forget, but i will forever be indebted to her for teaching me.

this isnt the only important thing in your life so dont give all your time to it now, but begin to invest time and money in your future marriage now.

needing books and help doesnt mean im a sissy, it means i want a blessed and loving marriage and i will love my wife enough to not just try to wing it on my own... shes too important to me for that.
