Hello. I am currently a member of a non-denom evangelical "community church." However, as I get older and read more about church history, I am increasingly unsatisfied with the three word three chord "worship songs" and other "low church" elements. I think I might be able to fit in in the Lutheran church, and a friend who is from a LCMS background loaned me a copy of Walther's Law and Gospel book, which I have found encouraging. Anyway, there are not any LCMS congregations within driving distance of me. However, a month or so ago, I stumbled across a church which said it was a part of Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ. Is anybody familiar with this group, and do you know how they might compare with the LCMS? I don't know for certain that the Lutheran church is for me, but it's certainly an option. Thank you ahead of time for your thoughts.
