I am interested to know if anyone has read this book by this woman. I am only half way through the book but I feel doubt and cannot read it any further.

You can read alittle about it here www.choothomas.com
There is also a video attached so you can listen to her.

Im not sure what to believe. She even says that Jesus cooked her some fish in heaven. I thought there would be no death in heaven but according to her she ate the fish that Jesus had prepared for her.

I don't want to doubt other peoples experiences. I want to actually believe what she has seen.

I hate to say this, but I would be very cautious about stories written by people who claim to have gone to heaven, especially if they haven't had a death experience (I've heard a couple of accounts by people who were declared medically dead, and they differed, so what/who can you believe?).

If you want a good book about heaven, take a look at "Heaven", by Randy Alcorn. While I'm not sure I agree with everything he writes, I think he makes an honest and well-researched effort to describe what heaven is, based on scripture. And to his credit he admits he is still looking for discernment and enlightenment in some areas.

Books of this kind--about experiences visiting both heaven and hell--are written in some cases by deluded individuals and in some cases by those just trying to make a buck off the credulous. In my opinion, Choo Thomas is just another in the long line of promised "false prophets" who will infiltrate the Church in the last day in order to lead many astray.(Matthew 24:11, 24)

All that God wants us to know--and therefore all we need to know--about the nature of heaven and hell are included in the Scriptures. Judging from Saint Paul's experiences being "caught up to the third heaven" and being forbidden to talk about his experience (2 Corinthians 12:1-4), i would certainly doubt anyone who claims to describe the indescribable in the same way i would doubt anyone who provides a date for our Lord's Second Coming when our Lord has stated that no one knows the time of His return.

Hi jacqui, welcome back.

Sorry, but if you get involved in reading that stuff, you are opening yourself up to seduction and deception. I could probably give you another list a mile long on all these Christians who suppose to have gone to heaven. Many are no longer in ministry.

Be aware, beware, and don't be unaware.

no....death in heavon could mean no death for us his servants...not just animals if their are fish... or it could mean no "death" period, the idea, becuase their was no "death" in the garden of eden untill sin came and their will be no sin in heavon.

But honestly...what does it matter? I'm still young but and i have already seen enough of christianity and church in general to know amoungst all that is true, their is still plenty of people who maybe mean well and are sincere but are wrong. It doesnt actually hurt people though very often...

If shes right...what does it matter? It doesn't really matter what is going on in heavon as the bible doesnt give us very many pictures of it except for major events that dictate the happenings in our world.
How people eat? ...it doesnt matter.

If shes wrong...we'll, she probly doesnt know and it wouldnt hurt to just kindly dismiss what she says, and if shes honestly trying to make a buck, it still doesnt hurt to just forget it and move on.

I wouldn't worry about it, if it makes you feel uncomfortanble, seek God in the ways you know work for you and move on. You hold hands with Jesus and forget all the shouting from the crowds nearby.

I watched her video. She says that both of her parents are in hell, and that they were calling out for her help. She also said that there are tons of aborted infants and they will only be saved if their mothers are saved.

It's kind of arrogant to say that she is faking it for sure, so I won't say that. What I will say is that I strongly doubt she is truthful.

I don't know much about her past, but she said that her parents are in hell even though they were "decent" people because they didn't know Jesus. That implies they were not Christian, which means she probably wasn't born Christian and converted. In her video she seems very shaky and unsure. I almost get the impression that maybe her Church put her up to it, to try to spread a message.

Or not- if it's real I apologize. :)

This is exactly how I think and have been thinking. She does seem rather shaky in the video but she said that was the Holy Spirit that makes her rock to and fro. Its very hard to distinguish what is real and what is. Its also very hard not to judge especially when they are meant to be giving a real message from Christ.

I don't think it's the Holy Spirit making her rock like that. Shaking like that is a VERY common sign of nervousness in front of people or a camera. I would think that if the Holy Spirit was in her helping her talk, it would make her seem very sure of herself and confident sounding.
