It was originally reported that Secret Service discovered the illegal drug in a common area of the West Wing, but it has since been confirmed that the cocaine was actually found in a more secure location near an entrance used by various staff members from different government agencies. The place where the drug was found is also near the Situation Room — a conference room and intelligence-management center located in the basement of the West Wing.
This administration has boasted about their transparency. It is time to call them out. The American people should demand it.

No, we don’t impose medical tests on anyone because Ms Boebert demands it.

This is the people's house that holds national security secrets. Drug tests need to be done.

If it a part of their job requirements, then they are already done.

Blanket testing would be a violation of the 4th Amendment, so no.
Executive Order 12564--Drug-free Federal workplace put into effect by President Reagan:

Sec. 3.
Drug Testing Programs. (a) The head of each Executive agency shall establish a program to test for the use of illegal drugs by employees in sensitive positions. The extent to which such employees are tested and the criteria for such testing shall be determined by the head of each agency, based upon the nature of the agency's mission and its employees' duties, the efficient use of agency resources, and the danger to the public health and safety or national security that could result from the failure of an employee adequately to discharge his or her position. (b) The head of each Executive agency shall establish a program for voluntary employee drug testing. (c) In addition to the testing authorized in subsections (a) and (b) of this section, the head of each Executive agency is authorized to test an employee for illegal drug use under the following circumstances: (1) When there is a reasonable suspicion that any employee uses illegal drugs; (2) In an examination authorized by the agency regarding an accident or unsafe practice; or (3) As part of or as a follow-up to counselling or rehabilitation for illegal drug use through an Employee Assistance Program.

Does not state that a member of Congress can demand that all employees in the West Wing be tested at her whim. There must be reasonable suspicion on an individual basis and authorized by the head of the Executive agency- not Ms Boebert.

A) Not everybody in the White House is in a sensitive position.
C) Targeted drug testing requires a reasonable suspicion that the individual being tested in using drugs. Simply working in a building that drugs were found in does not create that suspicion.

Absolutely! If this was Trump, people would be losing their you-know-what. But Biden seems to be above the law, he and his creepshow son. But SCOTUS is the villain here. I can’t stand the left. They will destroy this country.

I'll agree only if Congress, both elected members and their staffers, also agree to submit to drug testing
The Capitol and adjacent building hold Congress, the White House is where the cocaine was found. This is a huge national security issue. And the Biden administration, once again, has lied to the American people. They have changed their story as to what room the cocaine was found in. Let's for one time hold Joe to his word:
“In a democracy, the public deserves as much transparency as possible regarding the work of our national security institutions, consistent with legitimate needs to protect sources and methods and sensitive foreign relationships,” Biden memorandum February 4, 2021

It's hard to argue with a well-reasoned post like that.

The short answer is no. We have our constitution. Nobody should ever be compelled to take a drug test against their will, nor provide testimony that could incriminate them. The long answer is.. This is the White House. They have a billion cameras and know exactly what this is and who did it. And because we don't want coked up druggies with their hands on power and nuclear weapons...we do have a right to know what all those cameras show.

Do we? Just as an example, I'm not trying to make any claims, what if the cocaine was left by a foreign ambassador or part of the ambassador's entourage? I think the last I heard, it was found in a secure area near where the VP vehicles are parked, as well as the Situation Room (which is not being used due to construction). They could have had a foreign minister arrive through that entrance, both to "hide" the visit and/or for security purposes -- particularly with the Situation Room not operational.

That doesn't explain why a foreign minister, or part of the minister's staff, would have/leave the cocaine (though perhaps to cause issues for Pres. Biden) but would explain why it was being "covered up."

And the US government would argue otherwise, particularly if it would cause an International incident.

I would suggest for the same reasons Presidents don't inform the public the details of negotiations with foreign nations, at least prior to a treaty being ready to sign.
