angelsfire84, think you've got a period of time to let Yahweh resolve some things - usually one at a time. Major area is your identity isn't youth leader or any of those other positions nor their acceptance or rejection. Though we can benefit from an evaluation of our critics' comments and get it clear with Yahweh and His Word in our hearts and minds about what they've said, then move on. Your real identity is in His Word such as Psa 139:14; Eph 3:16-20). Forgive yourself and others. You know, Yahweh helps us each step (Isa 41:10).
Job said "For the thing which I greatly feared is come upon me, and that which I was afraid of is come unto me. I was not in safety, neither had I rest, neither was I quiet; yet trouble came." (Job 3:25-26). We need to let Yahweh get rid of that kind of fear. I understand how difficult it is and learning to frequently asks Yahweh for the fruit of His Spirit, too (Gal 5:22-23; John 14:27).
Concerning the I'm no longer of any use to God except being martyed thoughts, think you would have peace if those thoughts were from Yahweh. Also, urging you to remind yourself that it isn't what you do but Yahweh loves you (John 3:16; Jer 31:3; II Thess 2:16-17).
-"Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you." (I Pet 5:7) "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God." Phillipi 4:6
-"Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness." Isa 41:10 "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." II Tim 1:7
-Yahweh gives us each breath (Isa 42:5)
-Note what happened to David in I Sam 30:1-8. He had been doing what Yahweh wanted and then everything and everyone in the natural was removed. How did he handle it? There were several steps/stages. How do we encourage ourselves in The Lord? Responses may vary but probably includes thanksgiving and praising Him; playing Christian music that's about Him; meditating (focusing) on Scripture such as Psa 145; thinking about some of His titles, names, and attributes; singing a song to an audience of One; and/or glorifying His name such as Psa 16:11; 46:10, 69:30; 71:23; and 100:4.
