God`s word says that Babylon will become a heap and no one dwell there. Well, the ruins are being rebuilt, (as your link showed). That was 2020, and today there are thousands of people living in Babylon, though not rebuilt part.

Today, with renewed internal and foreign tourism and funding from the US embassy and other international donors, Babylon is coming back to life. Its still-eerie, grandiose Hussein-era palaces and guesthouses are filled with international artists invited for the Babylon festival, and thousands of Iraqis flock here every month for parties, weddings and musical boat rides along the Euphrates river.

Your making an argument that these are false prophecies. If God didn't send the Medes to desolate Babylon, then how is it to this day a heap of ruins from what archeologists claim was a city the size of Chicago?

The unwise and silly description above has nothing to do with the Word of GOD, except to give a suggestive indication for them which intend to hide from the WRATH of the Lamb: Revelation 6:15-16 -> 15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; 16... hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne,...

The Word is GOD, GOD Himself, self-executing, understand?

I wasn`t inferring that they were false prophecies but true, and therefore it hasn`t happened yet.

Yes, God`s word tells us that Babylon will be desolate and no one live there. Well, that hasn`t happened yet.

Since the resurrection of believers (dead and alive) is going to happen "after the (great) tribulation of those days," "at the last trump," "on the last day," and after the "falling away," and after "that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition." We are a good ways away from that day. My best understanding is that it will happen at the battle of Armageddon when some are taken (to death), and some are left to be raised and rule with Him.
