Hey everyone: here's whats up.

The girl I like (who likes me back) is coming home for Christmas from Bible college. Her top love language is receiving gifts, so I know a good Christmas gift could really mean a lot to her. We aren't officially dating yet (with her being away at Bible college it wasn't practical), but what suggestions do you have for Christmas gifts?

Things I've given her in the past for christmas/birthdays/etc. include a stuffed puppy with 3 legs (had to perform some amputative surgery on it, but i fixed it up with a bandaid...) gift-baskety things with little things she likes (favorite candy, etc.) in them, a wine-cork bulletin board that I made for her, an anklet, etc.

budget: probably around $20-$60...and/or a day or two of creative effort. spending alot on her makes her uncomfortable.

Ideas?

Try checking out c28.com ... Christian-themed clothing, jewelry (a lot of it engravable), and gifts. You also get to choose what section of their ministry that profits go to. Just ordered some stuff from there, was quick delivery and quality stuff.

I'm getting experts (ie the female half of my immediate family) to help me with this soon but still gonna ask here:

Thanks to my degree I'm on a year abroad til end of May, which means long-distance-ness through our 1st anniversary AND her 21st birthday. Now I've got a visit coming up very shortly, so what would you guys do in the way of giftage?

Like wedding anniversary? Hmmm...I'd say jewelry. like a chain with a really unique pendant. Budget can determine whether its a small silver chain with a thoughtful/meaningful (but inexpensive) pendant...or like a little puppy or something cute...whatever inside jokes you have, OR a nice gold/white gold chain with a jewel pendant (if she's into expensive gifts and you've got the $ for it). first anniversary is paper...just google "paper anniversary gifts" and you'll get a million brilliant ideas. Trusting you have a good webcam setup already? Quality communication is important :) And written letters! (not just emails!).
actually come to think of it, if the visit isn't focusing on your anniversary or her birthday, just pepper her with small gifts throughout your visit :). Unless its a puppy, Wrap them. Its important. If its a puppy, make sure there's a bow on his head :)

from what I know of that love language - the thought is everything.

so research her likes (and expectations) if you can - and try to get into her head.

The bolded is the key to any present for anyone.

Yes, those are very special and wonderful to send/receive.

Yeah, don't wrap a puppy. Bow yes, wrapping paper bad. ^_^
