Sorry, I didn't get the joke, I'm slow minded. 5 kcal / day, I don't do that anymore, it can actually be unhealthy.

...or my jokes are crap. In any case, you seem to be fast with skates so that counts for something!

Did a little jogging this morning, and back/triceps exercises in the evening. Low volume and usually two working sets per exercise, to failure or at least near failure. Some with weights, some with bands, some bodyweight exercises, always trying to beat previous personal records. Doesn't compare to a gym but my home setup is looking alright. I might need an incline bench, or even just a basic flat one but not too worried about that yet.

We have a joker in our skate group, I didn't get his jokes either, not after few days. I just pretend that I did and laugh! Definitely not your fault. There's no way I can know you're joking without the luxury of face-to-face conversation.

In some ways, they are better than those gym machines.

Lifting free weights, bodyweight exercise/calisthenics also develops "muscle memory" for maintaining balance and correct posture which you can't get from using gym machines.

In any case, you seem to be fast with skates so that counts for something!
Not just for exercise but I'm hoping it also re-wires my brain. I think the activity is complex enough to serve as both mental and physical therapy for me.
