Fighting Demon or Evil in our dream.

I'm writing this through experience I had in today's dream.
It is so unusual really.

Have you ever had dreams which included demons & evil creatures and your running away from it? (Being chased)
Feeling disacouraged, unable to continue?
well, it happens for me at least 20 times a year..it's stuck in my memory all the time.
Well, dream today's experience..
it was similar.
presence of evil lurking (i'm serious) in dream.
Is it just human reaction because of daily work or just..coincidence?

THERE IS NO COINCIDENCE ON EARTH.
Everything is planned through thorough planning by something. And by that something, it reflects to all fates of the world.
Just let you know..

ANYWaYS! Back to dream..
okay..last time I had evil dream, I was so disacourage because my saying of "jesus help me!" didn't work.
AND I REALIZED IT IN TODAY'S DREAM WHY!

In my dream, there was 3 demons..
Of course, I was a bit afraid.
(To be in detail, I had a cross in my hand)
They were laughing and mocking.
In my first rebuking of evil, at first call of Jesus, it didn't work..second, didn't
And in third..it did.

It proved that my faith had to last LONG to cast out such demons.
As first demon was cast out, I went on to second and that demon was also casted out.
(I was saying In name of Jesus christ, by the power of the Spirit.. funny about it was that ...I was saying to myself..while holding the demon. Which probably meant that "casting out" demons of ME myself)

Third one went on..and it was the same, I had to repeat and made my faithful cast out very..long.

Demons are deceiving really..
I find today's dream very interesting because last time, I ran away.

You know, you can't really controll your dreams..
Reaction and so on..it's..really different from real world.
It just happens.
But...Through experiences..really..today's dream was special..it was not just ONe demon, it was several.
And..more special thing about this dream is:

I began to have these dream when I became Christian and accepted Christ in my life.

Well, I have demons in real life, when I am wide awake...


It sounds to me a lot like what I am going through.

I would say be informed by this dream...it may mean your calling is warfare. Please be advised, I have run into these very same sorts of dilemmas when rebuking demons. They laugh with a whispered "Ha!" and they pass themselves off as cute. I can hear them with my natural ears.

Before I became a christian, I used to have dreams where demons were chasing me, and catching me and throwing me all over the place. After being saved, I still had dreams, but I would stand my ground and say 'In Jesus name' at which point they would usually dissolve.
Recently, I have come accross ones that do not go on first telling, but yes, by the third time they usually go. (in dreams)
I have wondered if it was a calling into a deliverance/warfare area, but it doesn't seem to be yet.

One thing I find in Spiritual Warfare is always be prayed up and have your armor on. Fast if you feel led. For the Bible says that some only come out by fasting and prayer. If these demons continue to bother you either in your dreams or in real life you may need to fast and pray. Also I would go through your house and anoint it with anointing oil and pray over all the windows and doorposts and just ask the Lord to remove or cast out all evil in the name of Jesus and to put Angels of Protection around your property. Wherever you tread is yours in the Name of Jesus. Then make sure you pray your armor on. Make sure you put on your Helmet of Salvation, Your BreastPlate of Righteousness, Your Belt of Truth, Your Sword which is the Word of God, Your Shield of Faith and Make sure your feet is planted readily in the gospel of peace and ask that the Holy Spirit be your rear guard. Now once you pray these things on you must walk in them according to God's word. God promises us sweet sleep in His word. When you lay your head to rest you are promised sweet sleep. So if you prepare yourself before you go to sleep you will be guarenteed a sweet sleep. I too used to suffer from the battling of demons in my sleep but when I prepared myself for sleep and made sure I had my armor on and ask God to put Angels of Protection around me I started having sweet sleep. Now it is not to say that during the day you will not have to go through spiritual warfare. But there is a time of rest. Continue reading your Word of God. Study and be prepared at all times. And God tells us to fear not that we have authority over all things. Praise God, Jehovah Most High. For He is the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, He is the Alpha, the Omega, the Beginning and the End. He is the First and the Last. He is Jehovah Jireh, Your Provider. He is your healer, Your deliverer! Give Him all the Praise and Glory!

Ajax you may already know this but others may not. As demons come to more strength in these end times calls for clearer words. yes they know the name of Jesus and when weak will flee in his name, but when come to full strength they can be defeated with our Lords words and name. the words our Lord taught us when we turn to God. state the LORDS prayer and then cast out in the name of Jesus Christ, this combination of HIS words and HIS name will send the strongest fleeing. When the battle is near end why use pistols when we have been given a cannon.

I had a strange one last night...
A Priest was lecturing me and he asked me to reply...he asked me what's going on...I told him I can't think right now and I'm not in my right mind....
He then layed his hands on me and my body became heated and I dropped to the ground and passed out a while.....
I got up and he said "I will let God deal with you..Let his will be done"

After that ..somehow the dream transitioned to him laying hands on my head and my entire head became heavy and heated it felt just terrible. I'm A BACKSLIDER THOU...so idk what's it tryna say.

Yes.

It is God telling you in the dream you need to do something different, that you're running from the devil in your life rather than facing him.

Maybe you are a little spiritually dull? No offense intended, I have been dense many times. But when I had that dream of running from the devil, I knew what it was, and I realized what I was running from in life and why I would not face the devil.

I repented and tried to fight the battle I am supposed to fight spiritually.

Yeah, that's what you do. You figure out what the issue is and confront it spiritually.

We call that "termites in our woodwork". It's not demon possession, but strongholds in your life that are demonic. I daresay every Christian has them until they reach maturity.

God gave me one dream where there was junk locked away in a closet. I opened the door and was like, "Just burn the whole room, and I went inside an ice demon and left the room."

God was showing me there, I got issues in my heart that I fix myself by just going into cold robot mode and ignoring the issue, walking away from it and ignoring it. God had to put a heart back in me because mine had gone cold from life.

Ever since I could remember I've always had very intense dreams since I was just a child. Most feel very real and over the past few years I've begun having dreams about casting out evil spirits. Two nights ago I had a dream where I was alone in a dark house. I started singing to God and praising Him. As I began doing that I felt the presence of evil. I tried opening the door to get out but an unseen force was holding it shut. As I stepped back to catch my balance something told me instinctively to look up and to my surprise there was an evil spirit about to attack me. I felt fear come over me like a wave but I decided to fight back. I said "I rebuke you in Jesus name!" I repeated it again and although I felt like I was trembling with fear I said "I rebuke you in Jesus name " again this was my third time saying it! Right after I said it 3 times the spirit released me and I woke up to my husband asking me if I was ok! It was early morning hours now. I was shaking and exhausted. I felt like I really fought a spiritual battle. Can anyone talk to me about this dream. Do any of you believe that I actually fought an evil spirit in my dream. That's what I'm talking about. My dreams like these always feel so real like I was really there experiencing this. I'd like to know why I'm having these dreams

Alright need some advice on a dream. I just woke from a vivid dream about fighting some sort of evil spirits on a fairly large scale:

The beginning of it is kinda vague but it comes down to me being in a large room, like the size of a high school gymnasium dimly lit, there are about 50-100 people in there with me fearful of what's in this room connected to the gym. Basically some sort of evil or demonic presence. In the dream I encourage the group of people to follow me in the Lords. prayer, as well as a prayer to Saint Michael and some others before I lead them into the room.

In this connected room it's like a art gallery, with pictures on display and a small 3-4 piece rock band playing. Flashing lights, loud noise, etc. About 20 people are also in this room and seem controlled by evil? Armed with holy water and prayer I sprinkle and splash these people with holy water while praying as well as the pictures on the walls which become distorted. The people in the gallery seem to come out of it a bit. It seems like a victory. While leaving the room I'm speaking with someone who was fearful in the beginning of the dream with me in the gym. As we walk away I am explaining to him "we held them off but I hoped that the priest/ experts would arrive soon"

Okay so, I'm not a priest, not a fryer or a deacon. I am somewhat religious and have attended church somewhat regularly since after the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. But I'm far from a "good catholic" I tend to over drink, eat, etc.

I do light prayer candles regularly and attend Mass when I don't have to work weekends, but what I found strange is we (me and my wife) just moved into a new place. I've had more " spiritual" type dreams since we've moved. I did bless the home prior to moving and last night before bed, I put a cross above our bed and other religious things around the home. Some of those items hold holy water.

What would this dream mean? Is the house were in have "bad" stuff in it? Do the demons/bad spirits represent overcoming stuff in my past? Any advice is helpful.

The first happened a couple weeks ago. I fell asleep after praying and I had a few dreams within dreams (where I think I've woken up but I'm still dreaming) one particular dream that night was at that time the most terrifying dream I had ever had. I dreamt that I was in an apartment with my boyfriend and we went to bed but he got up to go down the hall. The room was dark. At night I always keep my medication on the nightstand bedside my bed so that I can take it if I get a headache during the night. Well in the dream I reached over to take the medicine from the nightstand and when I turned back over I could feel a presence in the bed with me, I knew it wasn't him though because I could still hear him in the hallway talking. Well I reached over with my right hand to feel what was in the bed with me and I felt a rough hand. I yanked my hand beck over and I saw a black figure sit up beside me in the bed. It was all black. It grabbed a top hat and put it on its head then turned and looked at me...staring at me. I was frozen and completely terrified. I tried to call on my boyfriend his name is Steven. I kept saying his name and apparently I was saying it out loud in real life where he could hear me and I woke up to him shaking me awake saying that he could hear me from the den where he was doing his school work, he could hear me calling his name.

The next morning I looked up "dreams about a man with a top hat on and all The sites that pulled up were terrifying. Apparently, hundreds of people have dreamt about this figure and believe him to be the devil himself or one of his top demons.

I am a Christian and I believe completely in our Savior!!

The next dream acctually occurred tonight. This was the most horrifying dream I've ever had. It's now 331am and I'm sitting outside my apartment because the dream scared me so bad that I haven't gone back inside yet. It happened at 2am this morning. I prayed again before bed. My boyfriend and I went to bed around 1230am but as I was falling asleep I felt something enter the room. The kind of feeling you get when your sitting and someone comes in quietly and although they don't say anything you can feel them there. Well I ducked under the covers for a moment then finally looked to see if something was there but I saw nothing. Shortly after I dozed off to sleep and I had a dream that I woke up but I was still sleep and it was as if I wasn't because nothing was different in the room. In the dream I did the same thing, I peeked out from under the covers and I didn't see anything and tried to go back to sleep but then the evil spirt made shuffling noices from across the room that woke up my boyfriend as well, the room was dark... the spirit then spoke and said "I'm here" and my boyfriend grabbed me to protect me but he was extremely scared and frozen also. He had his arms around my face so that the spirit wouldn't touch me but he was also shaking. We were both looking towards my bedroom door as if we knew it was behind the door because the door was open. I started to try to say Jesus but nothing would come out... But I kept trying over and over but it was like my mouth was frozen shut. Finally I got it out but it was muffled... we jumped out the bed to run into the hallway and as I passed the door I finally said it clearly and yelled at the door as we passed it "JESUS!" and the sprit shut the door behind us as we passed by escaping into the hallway, and then it opened the door again and [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse] it over and over as I kept saying his name and then I woke up. JESUS IS MY LORD AND SAVIOR!!!

I have seen this demon in a dream when I was young. It was very tall and on its head had what appeared to be a top hat. It had authority over 2 small demons that were trying to kill me. It stopped them. You better take a hard look at your like and examine your heart every day. He is the Hog king. I was allowed to see how this affects humans. At one point in my life, I got to know three women. One night in spirit I was allowed to call them to awake from a bed they were sleeping in. I called the first on and she changed from a woman to mule and would not wake up. As I was calling the second one to awake she turned from a woman to a mule and then to a hog, I knew she was hopeless. I called the third one and she sat up in bed awake. I knew she would dedicate her life to God.

You can and do control your dreams. You can even go lucid and enable you to do anything.

Usually, a situation as you describe means you are having Satanic attacks strongly on you in the waking world.

Hello, very creepy but i had a similar dream where i was also in a dimly lit large square room with a lot of people in it that were panicing but there was a demon in the center. I got them to chant with me in the name of jesus christ leave this place in peace these souls are not for you. And than a lliteral forcefield came up between the demon and us. It is real whats happening to us is real. Continue the fight never give in. They will never win inside of us. I will never stop fighting.

I did have this one dream before that I was in a bedroom with two beds and I was in one in my nightgown. The other was empty. It was very homey and a small lamp shown on the dresser by this closet. Well I could see two figures talking in the closet and it came to my mind that one of those figures was the devil. Then a woman came out and she tried to turn off the lamp, but couldn't, so sat on the bed with me. And I said "I rebuke you Satan in Jesus name" quietly. And I saw the dark figure in the closet dash away. And the woman said "I'm not the devil, honey." With a smile. And I asked her name and she said Hilda. And I said, "I command you Hilda, in Jesus name to go to Hell and never return." Her mouth dropped wide open and she got up and disappeared into the closet. And I said to close the door on the way out, and she did.

I never forgot that dream, and remember I used to be so afraid of demons. I felt God was telling me that demons have to flee in Jesus name and when I rebuked them, it was working. I didn't have to be afraid. I also think that other bed was Christ dwelling with me also.

This post just reminded me of that.
