Lol, this is delusion. I bet a lot of liberals are bobbleheading yes to this garbage. But you, too, could have one for yourself for $6.99 on Amazon.

It's just a REALLY really great way to get a sense of what people value.
Or maybe the American Flag. I hear that has been popular with presidents and individuals in government.

But nope.

Dude chose a person to say who he answers to. As a citizen, I wouldn't much care for that.

Clothing should rarely be a bit deal unless they are meant to convey and clear and precise message. THEN that message could be judged.

Wearing a tan suit? Maybe a strange fasion choice.

Wear a tan suit with a pin of Mao Zedong, I would TOTALLY understand why folks would have made a big deal outta that. Not because, fundamentally it IS a big deal, but you are explicitly telling someone something by doing that. So what are you saying?

Aryeh, the point is that if you don't know about it, it doesn't exist; Apparently it's a conspiracy theory.

The police didn't like it when I put my fingers in my ears and went "la, la, la, I can’t hear you".

Try putting your fingers in THEIR ears and say the same.

Worked great for me!

Eh, odder cults abound, but usually when people join them they remove themselves from society rather that making a nuisance of themselves in the political arena.
Unification Church. Quite involved in R party politics. Total cult.

Again, worrying about what someone wears. Isn't this grade school stuff?
But it's not his choice of tie or whether he wears brown shoes with a blue suit. He's got a gold facsimile of his boss pinned to his jacket. It's not weird. It's actually somewhat unsettling.

What is weird is that some people think it's perfectly normal. If this is actually normal behaviour then there's either been a glitch in the space time continuum or someone spiked my beer last night and I'm now in some alternate reality where presidents put tariffs on penguins and issue executive orders about shower head pressure.

Communist? Where is that come from?
Not as a communist, that is a right wing bogyman.
Ate we talking about something on different plans of exisistance again?

FCC chair's Trump pin likened to Mao, stirs online controversy <-------------- even on these forums. Rofl doubling down on dumb stuff.
The Chairman of the Federal Communications Commission, Brendan Carr, appeared with a golden pin featuring the image of Donald Trump on his jacket lapel. Australian activist Drew Pavlou compared the image of the U.S. President to that of Mao Zedong. "Welcome to MAGA Maoism," he concluded.

Belk, you forget the left-winger Russia Russia Russia boogeyman.

It's actually somewhat unsettling.
What's unsettling is a Chinese ship on your coast and traveling around your island.

Maybe you aussies should take your lapel pins or even matching cuff links and throw them at those Chinese ships so they don't have their way with you in your own waters. Because if China keeps acting up you guys might be forced to wear these red ones.

Some people have never heard of International Waters and Freedom of Passage. It's this thing that has existed for years, and countries are allowed to do it. Like when the US Navy sails between China and Taiwan or Russian ships hang around Baltic countries or the English Channel.

Not that he is a Maoist. Nobody thinks that he is a Maoist. Nobody has implied that he is a Maoist. The point was that he was wearing an image of his President, a symptom of fealty which some have noted is similar in its depths of devotion to that shown by sycophants of Mao who wear similar images.

The cultism, man. They’re pointing out the level of cultism in each of these examples. Only in religions and weirdo personality cults do people feel the need to show their loyalty and devotion to one single person.

It goes with the territory, the cult mentality and blatant idolatry of the flag is an example. They love the flag so much they make it into underwear and bikinis.

On the topic of totally normal, non bizarre displays of patriotism and love for the country and flag…

Hasn’t everyone groped a flag pole to show their devotion to the nation before?

I would have thought Trump’s relationship with the flag would have had a no kissing rule. I hear that’s a thing.

What on earth has that got to do with exhibiting fealty in such a manner? That was such a random comment that there's no reasonable response available.
