Erm, unless he is a flasher, his underwear is wholly irrelevant. Gushing is wearing the Trumps pin.
As a matter of bad taste, sure. But if his loyalty really was to Trump rather than the Constitution his fitness for office would be questionable.
I still think it's childish to worry about what someone is wearing. Now, BCP is more grown up, and this is why I put my faith in the law to keep the government in check.

There's literally a Federal Law that has been on the books since 1939 that address this. But who cares about Federal Law in the Trump world.

Which is why it is troublesome to consider that the man may be putting his loyalty to Trump ahead of his loyalty to the law. We'll have to wait and see. If it is just a matter of the indivdual's personal bad taste then there is no problem. If the pins start appearing on other Trump officials then there is definitely a problem.

of his loyalty to the law.
I'm sure you liberals will catch this before it gets out of hand. I have no opinion of bad taste when it comes to what they wear, and I appreciate Feterman's authenticity; I don't judge people over little things.

Never mind. Anyway, I'm not a liberal.

We're not talking about fashion here. Items like this are meant to send a message- just like a hammer and sickle pin would.

I'll call out a liberal hit piece of a topic on what people wear, lol. There is enough tribal warfare going on, and something as childish as a lapel pin is plain ridiculous. All this to paint Trump as a communist. This is the world, brothers and sisters; we have to keep that drum beating.

The painting is not him as a communist, but as an idol. And if this pin were the only exhibit in evidence, nobody would've said anything. But it's not.

The Chairman of the Federal Communications Commission, Brendan Carr, appeared with a golden pin featuring the image of Donald Trump on his jacket lapel. Australian activist Drew Pavlou compared the image of the U.S. President to that of Mao Zedong. "Welcome to MAGA Maoism," he concluded.
I wonder why it was OK for this guy to have the president's disembodied head on his lapel and it wasn't for Kathy Griffith.

Not as a communist, that is a right wing bogyman. As someone who demands sycophants. There is plenty of evidence of that and there is plenty of evidence that if you curry enough favor it will win his rewards. I don' think that is a hit piece per say. Just pointing out this mans well known weak spots.

You are not wrong on the tribal warfare though. Fair play on that one.

Well he has to be a Communist, because everyone knows that Fascist leaders have actually served in the military during a war.

Of course, it's weird to you because your bias is showing. I don't think it's weird. Liberals tying him to Mao is dumb. What happened? The Hitler narrative gets old. Seems like you guys do a lot of name-calling or love placing labels on people.
You don’t think it’s weird to wear the president’s face on a lapel pin? That’s even more bizarre!

How are y’all so ok with this dumb cult of personality stuff?

Aryeh, the point is that if you don't know about it, it doesn't exist; Apparently it's a conspiracy theory.

The comparison to Mao wasn’t to say Trump is a communist. It’s to show the similarities in the personality cults around these two figures and how loyalty to them personally is seen as the highest virtue.

At least Mao got something done, as much as we dislike what he did. It's easy to form a cult around a successful leader. What we've got is Benny Hill impersonating William McKinley. It's amazing that anybody could make a cult out of that.

Trump knows your anger. He knows your dreams. Trump has been everything you want to be. Just like Mussolini and Gandhi.

At least that's what I learned in HS.

Eh, odder cults abound, but usually when people join them they remove themselves from society rather that making a nuisance of themselves in the political arena.
