That is the way the Bible goes. So much so that there people who believe NOTHING existed before Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden 6,000 years ago. Of course we know that there nothing does not exist, but that gets lost as a pun. We can say that in regard to the known universe. We do not know outside of our universe if there is something or nothing but there is a lOT of speculation as to what there is.

Meanwhile, back on topic: would anyone who accepts micro-evolution, but denies macro-evolution like to tell me what are the disitinguishing features of the two - not in terms of consequences, but in terms of proposed mechanisms?

After I saw the YEC creationists claim that Tyrannosaurus ate melons before the fall or that spiders ate fallen leaves, I do not think they are thinking things through.

Its just a bunch of nonsensical statements, similar to the Flat Earth views.

We tend to think the finite is very small and the infinite is very big. So it all goes beyond our ability to be able to perceive or understand. Perhaps in the macro, microm, yec oec, people are limited in what they can see or comprehend. An infinite God is greater than the ability of finite people to be able to understand. I wonder about the animals and how much do they really know. Perhaps more than we think they do. Sometimes they fight a lot and sometimes they all get along. When they are not trying to eat each other. Pretty much the same as us.

The world we live in is only 5995 years old. The year begins at the Fall Equinox. At first that was in Oct but now it is in Nov.

The Fall (or autumnal) Equinox is on September 22 or 23, not in November.

Nothing is impossible for God. Everything is relative. Adam and Eve DID live 6,000 years ago. Noah was a real person with a real ark and real animals all of that is true if you want to deny it or not. It is intellectual dishonesty to deny that the Bible is true. There was 4,000 years from when Eve transgressed to when Mary birthed Jesus into the world to pay the price for her sin. Mary really was the "seed" of Eve. All of that is true.
