I want to get an ear piercing on my cartilage, but I don't want to if God doesn't want me to. Is it allowed?

Do you ask him what you should wear each day??
the first person to come up with the most things God doesnt care about winsWe are dealing with a God that knows how many hairs there are on our heads. There is no part of our lives that does not matter to Him.

what shampoo we use
the razor we shave with
how many chairs are in our house
the name of our dog
our name
our birthday
our screen name on cf

Instances of God telling people what to name their children are few and far between, and I'm not sure he cares what average people name their kids.

Maccie said:Well, God chose some pretty nasty names for some children - look at Hosea, who was told to name his daughter "unloved". OK, so God wanted to make a point in this case - I just hope the child didn't live up to her name.
I honestly think God has better, and more important, things to do than worry about where we put our earrings. After all, there are 20 million galaxies in the universe - and those are just the ones we know about! When I think of God keeping all that lot going, it blows my mind! How can he possibly be worried about an ear?
