And I’ve always thought the “know them by their fruit” adage to be pretty toothless, because for any person who says they’re a Christian, there’s another person who also claims to be Christian who’ll say “No you aren’t, because I’ve examined your fruit”. Which inevitably leads to dualing scriptures.
Jesus Himself repeatedly said “you will know them by their fruit” in Matthew 7:15-20 when discussing false prophets and a bad tree, which represents unbelievers.

If one is not a white supremacy engager one has nothing to fear from being targetted as a domestic terrorist.
74 million people voted for a white supremacy dog whistle, insurrection prompter who tried to cheat in an election.

Nearly 1/4 of your nation are bad actors: let that sink in.

That doesn’t address what I wrote. If another Christian was questioning your “fruit”, they’d use the same Bible verse towards you...

Right. The problem is that different Christians have different criteria. I think lots of Christians have fruit that’s basically closer to the Pharisees than Jesus.

It can be dicey to try and define someone out of the group you’re both in just because you don’t like their stance on something.

If you start a sentence with “You can’t be a Christian if” and don’t end it with something like “you don’t believe that Jesus Christ is the Messiah who died for your sins so you could have everlasting life if you accept his gift of salvation.”, you’re just trying to polish your own halo at the expense of someone you don’t like...

Pelosi & AOC are calling even their own colleagues "enemies" and "murderers":

"Critical race theory" in schools "justifies" virulent hatred of white Americans:

Cancel Culture brands Founding Fathers as deplorables:

The wise learn from history so they don't have to repeat the disasters of the past -- we've already seen these kinds of rhetorical escalations in Nazi Germany & Soviet Russia against Jews & "kulaks" in order to "justify" taking their wealth and throwing them in concentration camps & GULAGs

But if people are themselves broken . . . and broke . . . how can they fix themselves or anything?

Unless I am honest in my character and have a functional conscience . . .

"he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much," Jesus says, in Luke 16:10.
That sounds like an excuse to just do nothing.
But we are not excused, because with God we can have ability to do what is good.

Your response is non-sequitor. You were mocking the idea of politicians fearing being killed by constituents, I pointed out that constituents were in fact trying to kill Mike Pence.

They were also threatening to kill Rand Paul. And they were BLM.

News flash: Biden is a white Christian.
White Supremacists traditionally do not consider Catholics and Jews to be "white." OTOH, chairman of the Proud Boys identifies as Afro-Cuban. The issue is to believe in white supremacy, rather than one's actual skin color.

"Statistics of reported lynching in the United States indicate that, between 1882 and 1951, 4,730 persons were lynched, of whom 1,293 were white and 3,437 were black."

Dunno about that. I think it should be correct to say “you can’t be a Christian if..... you are a massive racist”.
